It's pretty easy, just drive slower :D
I don't want to! :D it s just that it s possible that a lot of people are going to run wide and it might start an argument about track limits

An exit kerb of a normal corner like that is not an unavoidable obstacle. "I don't want to stay on track" or "I'm faster if I leave track there" is not a good argument for leaving the track ... Let's drive the layout the way it's meant to not the easiest way possible.

I respect your point of view and since Manu asked about track limits, I suggest, we debate and decide what's best for everyone. I'll comply to it, running wide or not I don't care :)

Didn't realise my mic was open when I did this, but I don't think track limits are an issue this track at all... :pompous:
The issue is that the kerbs love to sucker punch you in the balls before swiftly smashing your face with a kneecap as you recover from the first blow...

The front left gets a bit hot, but not in the red after 12 laps or so. Wear wasn't too bad either

Ahh you've discovered what we have named the "hypersofts" - trust me on this track the slicks are quicker both on short and long run pace.

I know people ran the whole of Daytona on wets (not myself included)

Hat net lap times are you looking at?

As most of you know, i am on the slower side of things. So with slicks i was doing 1:32s after some laps (never driven the combo before). When i switched to wets just to play around, i gained the said 1.5 - 2 seconds.

The last race was devastating already, as I was so far off the leaders (3-4 seconds was normal gap for me in the last seasons). Seeing FuBii doing 1:25s in his posted video just gives me a hint that I am either driving the car totally wrong, or there is some secret pace switch in the setup I didn't find yet.

Did you check your Fanatec brake pedal settings, seems as if you are constantly on the brakes ('set min' setting of brake pedal too sensitive maybe?) ... you should be able to do a 1:28 easily with race fuel and 1:26 in TT.
To callibrate pedals, you need to connect pedals to PC with USB btw. And after firmware update for pedals, you need to recallibrate pedals (assume this is the same as for the ClubSport pedals I use)

That's all good. I have the speedometer on the HUD all the time, and it doesn't show any input of the brake, when i don't touch it with my foot. Will do some more testing tonight.
