Hi, my name is Simon, Project Cars has been a huge part of my life for the past 5/6 years, sadly didn't have the time to put into the sequel that I spent in the first WMD because well life...

I've been a car nut my whole life, big fan of GT games until I discovered Live for Speed in around 2008/9 and spent many happy hours lapping away, found a good bunch of racers who I raced online with every other Sunday, then I found out about Project Cars. I signed up and then got hooked, I've tried other games since but my head has not been turned for long, brief affairs at best, sadly most of my driving has been time trials and offline career because life is too hectic to commit to a regular schedule (although I'm working on that). Looking forward to the 22nd as I've actually put some time in recently and I'm loving the new game. Oculus rift has also changed my life...

My name is also a statement of intent, although I have my moments...hope to be more active online with the new game. Fingers crossed the new ranking system does the job and pickup racing becomes more enjoyable, although I hope I can find a series that fits my time constraints.

I'm not a big fan of downfarce cars, much prefer something with a bit of lean and slide. Give me an E30 M3 every time in game.

Hi, I'm Sebastian and some of you might know me from the WMD forums of Project CARS.

I have quite a history in Simracing, as I began really with the old Grand Prix 2 and GPL. However, back then I mostly played the NFS titles until Porsche, HP2 and Underground 2.

I basically tested every Sim from GTR onwards, but somehow I got stuck with the SimBin titles. I started league racing in 2007 with GTL, and GTR2 and was pretty active on GTR4U and NoGrip. With Race07 THE sim title for me was born. It had nearly everything done well, and I always liked original content over mods somehow. This is why I never really gained a foothold with rFactor.
Race07 and all of it's expansions were the title I have most hours played on (~500), which consist of mainly league racing @ Race07.de, later GTR-Evo.de. Unfortunately, like many other small leagues, there wasn't enough participation in the races, so that we closed the site. Some of us went to the racersleague, but this wasn't compatible with my schedule. So I stopped league racing a couple of years ago, but am eager to give it a go again, now with my most favourite sim as of now.

As Project CARS 2 is a game that makes me want to not play other or older sims, and I see that races here are in good times, also during the week, I really look forward to see some of you on track and maybe also competitive in a championship!

I am not exactly new to racing, have been playing pretty much all of the need for speed franchise, colin mc rae rally all the way up to rally dirt and on the side some other racing games i could get my hands on like grid, grid 2 etc (so yeah, i am THAT old.., 46 to be precise). Recently i decided to pick up racing again with Assetto and Project Cars and waiting for Project Cars 2 of course. I would like to try out to see if I like some online racing with like-minded people (clean and fair racing), so here I am.

Bit more personal, I am a Dutchie, working in IT since long time and besides sitting behind my pc like to play some tennis or travel.

Did allready some Races with you in the pCars Developement, and looking Forward for Races in the Final Product.

For the others: I am Marcel, 28 Years old and i'm from Switzerland... I work as an Technician in the Family-Workplace a Multimedia-Shop with Sale/Repair/Installation and with our own Cable-TV Network.

That is actually a good question! Will speak to my lovely @Admins tomorrow. Before the first event takes place we have already an Induction Night in place on Saturday. If you have time just be there!

Hey wabi, good to see you here. We're on summer break at the moment so there isn't many events on-going, but we'll be starting events for PC2 on launch, with an induction you may wish to attend the following day, on September 23rd. You may also wish you familiarise yourself with the rules and induction and what not in the 'Learn More' tab at the top of the page prior to the events.

Only a week left till we can all get racing again.

Hi I am Grom or Paul or as most people call me "Grom"

I am 38 from the United Kingdom and live in a place called Kingston Upon Hull or "ULL" as the locals say. Famous people from "ULL" include... Norman Collier (some say I sound like him ?) and of course John Prescott !

I have been playing games since an early age (spectrum/atari) but really started getting into racing games on the first Gran Turismo. I also played many MMOs such as Lineage and ran my own server for many years.

I race with no assists/manual gears) and often a beer in the other hand

Job: I am a social worker and work on the out of hours team in "ULL"

Interests: Fishing , Web design, Computer building and love any tech gadjets.....oh and the wife

I am easy going and dont get offended easily (must be the job, not many people are happy with what I tell them lol)

I mainly race on iRacing now , however did enjoy Project Cars 1, I spend alot of time racing with the United Kingdom Clean Drivers club (UKCD) and still have involvement there as Admin

If the group needs help with anything, let me know I may be able to help ;-)
