i don't want to put "the cart in front the horses" (a Portuguese saying :D) as i will have my induction tomorrow, however, i have been testing a bit on this track / car.

I must admit Formula C was one of my fav cars (and my fav open wheeler) in pcars 1 but, in Pcars 2 i am a bit disappointed: i dont like the engine noise it just not feels a very powerful car and i feel its a slower series now than in pcars 1.

About the track...goin negative again. I really don't like the track: no elevation changes, mostly 90 degree turns and its basically patches of track on an oval circuit.

I concur on the tyre temp issues. I was testing on the Race 2 server config environment, and even with lowest tyre pressure i was noto able to go past 75 C on the left side tyres if i remember correctly, right side didnt go past 60 C i believe. Good to know the race will move to July :D.

Let's see how my induction goes tomorrow, and if all goes well, i'll join on Thursday.

Defo love the car, the track not so much but I have no problem racing on it anyway.

I did a 1:31.040 with Puffys setup in TT. Didn't try it in the summer conditions that will be used in the race .

Maybe the race should be run with performance impacting damage instead of full damage. I can imagine some serious "Uups only 3 tires left"-trouble... :chicken:

Car and track FFB feels really good. Did I read right that we are changing to July instead of October? October feels fine to me

i was testing yesterday with the autumn settings, it didn't feel too bad but July would make things on the setup side much easier i think
Good that Puffy shared his setup via TT as I don't have that much time to work on my own one.

People should be able to adapt to the colder weather. You wanted realistic sim racing and you complain when there is a managable problem? Run with october...

I just wanted to be nice. General consensus on TS yesterday was the car is hard to drive and the rear end just wants to come around.

I could show my not so nice side because this starts to piss me off. People struggle to race in pc2 because it's harder to drive in some ways than pc1, me and Manu give you a hand and make it easier by changing the month and therefore temperature and all you do is complain.

You may be able to handle the car on your own, using the full track width and sometimes more, but can you in a dog fight between open wheelers where the rear end is milliseconds from breaking loose?

Go ahead, keep October, but don't cry if you end up getting crashed because someone loses it.

Keep it civil guys. Nobody needs to have "the last word" on this so just leave it be. The race looks like it will be run in July, instead of October, and that's the end of the matter.

Great, I worked out a setup at the weekend because I won't have much time between now and Thursday and now i've got to do it all again. I don't see what was wrong with the original settings, you just need to work it out not change them with 2 days to go because it's a little tricky. So theres no point working on a setup before Wednesdays in future just in case it all changes then.
