Why default setups? Just means anyone who hates the default setups like me cant join in, in what looks like 2 fun events :(

For those unsure about this car, given how 'interesting' it was to drive in pCARS1, let me assure you that it is a vast improvement and a lot of fun. It's still a tricky beast at times but nowhere near the wild animal we had first time around. Should be a cracking race.

As for default setup, it levels the playing field somewhat. Those who don't have great setup skills can hopefully find themselves a little more "in the mix". The best drivers will still shine, they always do, but for those with busy lives, those who don't want to spend hours and hours tweaking a setup to get the last hundredth out of the car, default setup races are a nice change.

That said, we did discover in the race last night that fuel is not always equal. You can be sure that this will be reported back to the devs.

If only it would default to stable. I have yet to find a car where loose is nice to drive and good for racing. It’s good for hooning around though :D

As it is my son's birthday, i cannot participate in this event, which is a shame 'cause I really like the Renault... Have fun and good luck to everybody.

Ooh default setups, sounds like a plan. Count me in...better get some practice in though, haven't driven that car.

Edit: Default setup clarification please. Do we just avoid going into setups and accept what we get, or go in and save the loose setup guaranteeing 50L fuel?

I'd like to get plenty of practice in as despite what @Cluck says about this car my first impression is that it's a slippery beast that will take some practice to tame :)
