yeh no worries, i just thought might have got in the way a little.

Having read the posts above, im wondering if the brake temps are having an effect on overall tire temps? @Cluck maybe you could confirm this?
I'm a noob and could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it does. Found out the hard way.

  • Performance balancing changes to the LMP1, GT3 and GT4 Classes.
Wonder if this will somehow affect our beloved Cayman.

ahh well that could explain some of my issue, i had quite hot tires and brakes during practice but it seemed to work find. my brake ducts were around 30% so that might be the answer with a slight change in condition

Yes, the heat in the brakes will have an effect on tyre temps and pressures :)

hehe, I was running with 100% on the front. It's the only way I know to keep the tyres cooler. They were overcooked anyway.

Did some laps with the new patch applied and some things have changed:

- Tires are generating much more heat. One fast lap at COTA Nat. and the tires are up to 130°C. In race pace I ran 1:37 times with tire temps around 120°C overall which is quite high :). .. but yeah, it's COTA.
- Much improved brake stability. I was able to brake with more bias towards the rear. I didn't notice the weird rear-instability issues during my 9 laps.
- Increased tire wear, propably x2 or x3
- In general more rear stability
-

Good news. Let's see how the car behaves at Longus Beachus.

Yeah that’s too little :) I ran 65/50 if it’s of any help :)

Sorry for my non participation to the race but I had very difficult day at work and came back home really late. I couldn't give any notice earlier :(
