Had a bit of a moment, PC wouldn't fire up when I got home...I've been doing some mining with it lately and it doesn't appear too happy about it. Hopefully should be ok, just going to fuel up with some beans on cheese on toast :D

Just want to quickly apologise to @Darksi . I locked up trying to avoid going into the back of @ramiboo and lost control, spinning back across the turn. Unfortunately, darksi was just coming round the corner at that exact moment, having gone into the pits for repairs from another incident, and t-boned me. His car looked a mess and as I followed him, after letting the field past and then I saw him retire in the chicane. I retired immediately as it didn't seem fair to carry on, given that I had received no damage - he must have hit the very centre of the side of my car. I can only apologise Si :(

No worries @Cluck as you said i was already a lap down after having to repair from a turn 2 incident on the 1st lap where i had quite a bit of aero and suspension damage. tried to get back to the pits after our contact but the car was having none of it.

Race report:

Race 1: Hit up the rear into the hairpin ended it early.

Race 2: WOW!!! Started 18th, kept it on the inside in turn 1 just missing a car facing the wrong way. Managed to gain a few places. Then I just followed @Invincible for a couple of laps as people spun off around me. Got up to 10th and then closed up on @Invincible and he started to make small errors which led to an oppotunity to pass. Two others went off in front so I found myself 8th. Then I had to deal with @Ashnoom and @Raigore being behind and faster. Decided to leave the inside into turn 1 open and hold the car round the outside to defend. It worked... 3 times. Kept my cool and made no mistakes for the whole race. Best RSR race I've ever had!

I have a nasty feeling I tapped somebody going into turn 1 on the opening lap of race 2. Whoever that was, my apologies, I lost sight of the track and was already trying to back out but couldn't really differentiate the brake lights from the tail lights and didn't realise people were already braking. Entirely my own fault and I can only apologies if you sustained any damage from it.

Hey all! Sorry for not joining in. My band got a last minute request the other day to do a gig tomorrow so we had to practice this evening. I'll be at the race on sunday however!

im quite happy with both races.
I qualified 21st on both of them...definitely the more power the cars have, usually the worst i perform, something i need to improve.

Nevertheless, once again, my aim was to get out of trouble and try make as few mistakes as possible, specially on a car that i particularly didnt like due to the massive understeer, and i hate understeery cars.
I did meet my goals for the race and both of them won several spots during the race, finishing i believe 13th and 16th respectively (not sure honestly).
1st race was allright, but not majorly eventeful. Second race was good fun in the midpack with several drivers fighting hard but fairly for position, just as i enjoy, it's no fun if no blood is spit too! I can't remember all of them, but special shoutout to @Mark and @steveg200, us 3 goin side by side to the hairpin and not ending in a fireball or cars turned the wrong way speak volumes to driving craftmanship.

I'll not be around for the weekend and i'm working late shift next week, so cya all for the Ferrari vintage race!

Only got Race 2 unfortunately but really enjoyed the racing if not so much the car itself. Thanks @drukqs and @steveg200 for the close racing.

Hey guys, it was a fun night, sorry for jumping the gun in Race 1, been a while. Race 1 was good fun, I wasn't quite quick enough to stay with the lead 3 and found myself ticking the laps off in 4th for most the race. I caught @Alex Salmon in the last 5 laps and we had a good battle where I got him on the last lap for 3rd place.

Race 2, I had a great start and

Do you have still an overclocked GPU? PC2 doesn't like those crazy overclocks. Since I turned my GPU back to default I have no more crashes at all. Last time my game crashed is maybe half a year ago.

Can remember I told you ages ago to turn it on default with pC2. Worth a try but really up to you :)

No Problem, no damage taken. It looks quite funny the way your car slides sideways past my car only to give it a little tender kiss on the cheek  ... but I felt sorry for you.
That is my view of the second part race, beginning. After a few laps it became super boring but in the first laps there were some cars around me and some good overtaking on me.

I checked the replay of the 2nd race. The manner of cutting esp. the last chicane was not cool. Non of the top3 can be proud of themselfs. If the faster driver that are faster because they cut more think they can do it because they are faster, then we can't use tracks like this one unfortunatly.
