I am considering making a movie about it. :) In talks with Tom Cruise to play me. :p

Real racers go too fast to look behind ... and only focus on the most important thing... the next race on the RSR calendar! :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Hello!

I'm Angel, some here may remember my old nickname in the gentlemen's club "checamon".

I really like racing and I'm really looking forward to meet you all on track. I may not be looking in the mirror when I do, but I will certainly try!

I've been watching some of the streams of today's event with the Audi, I wanted to join you today but life gets in the way, luckily the reason is that I had more work than expected as tomorrow I'm travelling back to Spain to visit my family for the first time this year.

So... Spaniard, live in London, and work in IT, so typical...

Happy to be here, meet new friends or old ones!

Where do I start ? I don’t think you want my life story and at my age it would take too long !!

I got back (after a 8-10 year gap) into sim racing last year running PC2 on a powerful gaming laptop, seat and Fanatec setup. Got into VR a month ago and everything ground to a halt. Invested in a “bells and wistles” PC which should arrive next week. With all that investment I thought I’d like to get back into MP racing and then I remembered all the silly kids in the Forza lobbies.... swearing, cheating and crashing. So here I am. At nigh on 60 I am probably the oldest but I doubt I will be the slowest and I certainly wont be the fastest . I have done a fair amount of real life fast car driving and prefer the “sim” bit of sim racing i.e. driving like real life not electronic dodgem cars.

Ps my name is Ian

hello everyone, names JaGGeD or JaG for short. Been into racing games a while but have just recently started taking them serious as ever. joined the community because i am tired of always encountering poor drivers who prevent clean and c fair driving wins on the track online. also because i want to step up my skills and be in a community of like minded drivers.
i am currently on the ps4 pro playing GT Sport and Project Cars 2. I also am a founding member of Adrenalin Race Community or ARC which is a collective of drivers in a small club who enjoy racing.
Thanks
my psn tag is JaG83D83

Welcome @JaGGeD_ARC_83 Unfortunately we are a PC only community here so you won’t be able to race on PS4. Feel free to stick around and see how things happen here though :)

I started racing on original nintendo with excitbike haha okay probably more along the lines of Nintendo 64 with F1 World Grand Prix then eventually got a playstation 1 and Gran Turismo. I probably played that for 5000 hours, and moved onto the following Gran Turismo.

My family got a PC and one of the first games I got was on a demo disc in a magazine which was all the rage back in the day. ( which reminds me why are demo's of game a thing of the past? ) and I played some indy racing game and eventually Gran Prix Legends :D . I stopped gaming for a long time until I found myself watching sim racing youtubers in 2016. After about a year of watching sim racing on youtube I eventually got a G27 and started playing codemasters games.

Last year I bought a fanatec setup and have since moved on to mostly rf2 and iracing, some pc2,ac, & codemasters games still. I'm hoping ACC turns out really well because the physics and sounds are amazing, just not enough detail in the FF.

Anyway I just found out about revolution sim racing from Alleric; and from racing mostly pubs and then getting to do some league racing I'm really interested in being apart of a greater community.

Welcome to RevolutionSimRacing(RSR)

Like most of us here we found RSR through the pain and suffering in public lobbies. We host a lot of events both singular and leagues in both Project Cars 2 and Assetto Corsa. We have multiple teams in Iracing and Rfactor2 which enter different championships.

You will likely find us on teamspeak racing, hotlapping or playing other games. RSR is a friendly community with a happy atmosphere so feel free to join us and get to know people! :)

Hi Everyone,

My name is Rexxody, or just Rexxy. I've been doing league racing for a bit over 3 years now, starting in the F1 games and now also Project Cars 2. At some point a couple friends and I got into iRacing and we did some of the endurance special events. Eventually time became an issue for me and I still struggle with leagues at the moment because of the set dates every week. Fortunately my friend @ramdrop was already here at RSR for a bit and recommended it to me.

So here I am, looking forward to some nice races with or against you guys! :)

Hey fellas,

Robert here (ignore my username for now... or just call me JJ)

i'll be 26 exactly 2 weeks from now, currently live in Germany(actually, about 90km away from Nuerburg :D), i was born in Romania but im a mixture of pretty much every EU "race", so you can just call me human. maybe earthling :D
been playing around with rfactor 1 some 10 years ago with a non ffb wheel, joined some drifting group which disbanded shortly after. wasn't really good at it either, i used to cruise around with the guys on big map mods after their training or competitions.
Didn't have the guts to join any real racing community since i wasn't good enough with my cheapo wheel, so i stuck to the open lobby for a while. It got old real quick, so i tried singleplayer on GT Legends until i finally gave up for good.

it gets pretty lonely out there. my introverted personality probably didn't help either.

fast forward a few years, im an adult (!!!), with my own paycheck.
dirt rally comes along, i screw around with a controller and i find myself longing for those chilled out nights again, driving around with a bunch of guys and just having fun. so here i am today, just bought myself a thrustmaster t500 2 weeks ago, and been having a blast with assetto corsa and pcars 2.

now i finally feel confident enough to join a real community, so here i am! been looking around the webz in search of a friendly bunch, been watching some youtube, there was a heated debate about the racing sim community in general on the comment section, and some guy recommended RSR, that's how i stumbled across you guys.

i hope you guys can provide, i'm looking forward to sharing the same track with some of you :D
it's a bit overwhelming right now, not sure what to do, but i'll figure it out eventually.

ok, 'nuff a dat, time to read the rules and stuff. wish you guys happy holidays, all that :D

edit: also considering buying an iracing subscription, maybe rfactor 2, or if you guys have any other suggestions, im down for anything. we'll see where this goes.

I sent you a pm, seems like I forgot to adjust our welcome message after our forum restructure. Apologies! Links should be updated now :)
