Race summary:

Embarrassing. I hope I didn't get in the way too much when being lapped. Such a small circuit makes it hard to give room with confidence. I often just went onto the grass to get out of the way.

Well done @Mazy CZ great results in both races, and to the other podium drivers. Sorry I was rubbish.

You did great mate, imo it was perfect because you were predictable during lapping, also when you took to the grass did you get PLP strikes? I belive this happened to @Jeff[NL] and he ended up doing a DT for being nice to me in race 1 that kinda sucks.

Yeah I was being sportsman and got punished for moving to much out of the way.that was me asking in race if it could be ignored because it didn't feel /is right. Doesn't really matter that race because it was already over for me by other crash. Sorry @Puffpirat at the jump/chicane part prob hold you up to much but I was also affected by 2 cars in front of me who suddenly decided to slow down immense. And @JetPistol i was a bit of at the moment I saw you in my mirror not really used to blue flags and hope you didn't lose much time I tried move away as fast as possible.

Race 1 for me.... Well qualy was okish not much practice and still fiddling around with settings new wheel. Race I got hit by a car who was spinning so bad luck for me. Result p18

Race 2 in the other hand was good fun. Went to p7 from p18 so I think that was great. Nice battles some little touches by mistake but overall good race! Tried overtaking @Battenberg didnt end well and got overtaken myself @Exited well just gotta try it sometimes you know.

That was some gritty racing last night, I loved it. I had a couple of set backs, but had a lot of fun coming back through the field and pushing every single lap. Thanks to the guys I was around, namely @Noztra, @Dangerous Gianetta, @Exited, @Alex Salmon, @Nada, @DannyvdMeer, @David Siska, @Jeff[NL] and @Corentin_Bergès for the fights.

Apologies again to @Corentin_Bergès who I knocked in T1, lap 2, race 1, and anyone behind who got caught up in the aftermath - I committed to a gap that shrunk and didn't react enough. I should have gone tighter initially, maybe we both would have survived, I feel like I made a bad situation much worse for those behind. Also special mention to the lapped traffic: this track was brutal for lapping, so don't feel too bad about 'getting in the way', I can appreciate how hard it was to give way around here. Anyway, here's my video, with timestamps:

15:00 - Qualy lap, good for P6. (Thanks for the tow @Ricardo Macieira!)
28:45 - Race 1 start. Down to P8.
29:55 - Accident on 2nd lap. Cars off up ahead, I had already committed to a gap that got smaller and smaller. I should have gone tighter :( Down to P11.
30:55 - @cheekymunkey78 goes into hyperspace (game crash) and harpoons poor @steveg200. Up to P9
32:25 - I catch a recovering @Darksi at the wrong place and wrong time. Spooky.
35:55 - Pass @Nada for P8. Some odd rubberbanding slipstreaming.
38:35 - Battle with @Dangerous Gianetta for P7.
40:23 - A little slide attacking DG opens the door for @Alex Salmon, who yeets it up the inside. Equally annoyed and impressed! Stay in P8. Next 18 minutes are spent pushing hard to keep up with Alex.
58:18 - Final lap, where we both catch @Mr AlcoN in an unfortunate place. I might have gained a place in a glorious Hakkinen/Zonta/Schumacher style move, but I had to break at a shrinking gap because I'm a cautious good boy. Finish P8.
1:07:50 - Race 2 start, from P3, soon in P4...
1:08:55 - ...but not for long. Up to P3.
1:09:44 - Up to P2, @Corentin_Bergès morphs into @DannyvdMeer on my left side.
1:11:45 - I get biffed off track. Down to P10. Danny waited so nfa.
1:13:10 - Cow on cow action with my team mate @David Siska. Complimentary speed boost from behind at the corner. Up to P8.
1:13:40 - The track ahead gets busy.
1:14:48 - Another battle with Dangerous Gianetta, up to P7.
1:15:33 - Code brown!
1:18:10 - Freebie, up to P6.
1:20:25 - Another freebie. Up to P5. Rest of the race spent pushing to keep @Jeff[NL] out of reach.
1:38:20 - 'Attempting' to 'drift' with Si.

thankfully i did know this track but sadly i didn't have much time to practice. I decided to start at the back and make sure things went smoothly and i was safely through the first lap, i managed this, easing my way through the start line incident and making 5 places because of that, on lap 2 i spun and hit the wall, causing a lot of damage to the car, it was still drive able so i didn't bother pitting for repairs. the next lap i spun in the same places(the jump) and had too much damage to continue back to the pits safely, especially as the pack was lapping me as i tried to recover, so with that in mind, i decide it was safer for everyone if i retire.
When i checked the setup, i realised i was on 3 rear wing which i didnt enjoy during practice - this was ultimately my mistake.

Race 2 started off much better now i had corrected the rear wing. with a much clearer start to the race, there was no contact and no chance of gaining places out of mistakes or accidents. I found a better rhythm but still wasnt completely happy with the car, lap 4-5 i hit the kerb on the penultimate corner which threw me hard into the tire barrier on the left side(other side of that chicane) this again was only front damage and the car was still driveable without any suspension issues. i continued only to find @hinesy32 having a crash on the jump, and unfortunately nothing i could do to avoid him. Im sorry @hinesy32 if that ended your race but i simply didn't see you in time to react.

during Race 2 i sat in the pits using free cam to watch the racing and i have to say, the racing was very good with some great moves in places.

Just once. It is tricky as you need to reduce your speed to less than what it was when you left the track.

No worries mate. My race was done by that point. My own mistake getting on the inside kerb too much.

I tried to join the server for belle isle. It crashes during loading, saying: "driver model is probably missing". Any idea what this is about?

I think @Noztra had this issue. Something to do with the shader patch?

I tried previous versions of shader patch: It works with preview74, but not with 112 or 114.

Yeah same problem I had. For some reason it doesn't work with the new shader patch.

I had a lot of fun in some parts of the race, both the first and second. However it was a bit too short and my pace wasn't great so I got lapped and that cut short the enjoyment a bit.

I had a couple of incidents, I don't know if it was you Ricardo, but in turn 2 I was letting myself be lapped and somebody cut in front of me, I wasn't accelerating or anything, just kept to my left but the other driver didn't notice he hadn't overtaken me yet and took me out. At least that's how it looks from my perspective, I didn't expect him to come to my side so soon and didn't react in time, nevertheless a shame for him as he was in the group battling for position :(

Apart from that, I made plenty of mistakes but was lucky many more times avoiding some of the bigger accidents and I did cause one in the jump, sorry! :)

All in all, good track, shame I didn't have a similar pace to other drivers to have more battles.

Keep the good work organising these races!

Round 3 (or 2?) was quite eventful for me.

In Race 1 after a good start I was collected in the turn 1 incident, so I dropped back a little in the order. After that @MATT1 and I had a really good battle, though I hit your car two times slightly because of my setup:

I couldn't practice as much as I needed, but I could setup the car pretty well with a manageable oversteer. I set the wing to 7 (max) so always caught the guy in front before the corner, but on the straight I had no chance to overtake or defend. Lesson learnt.

Not my favourite track. Did not manage to replicate my practise pace during the race (mid 51). That made the race much hard.

Race 1 - Pretty good battle with @David Siska for a couple of laps. A shame you waited for me to repass you again after turn 1. It wasn't your fault that i went wide, it was @Corentin_Bergès who bumped into me.

Race 2 - Started to get faster and faster until i collided with elissimo on lap 14. Don't really know whos fault was (maybe racing incident). Dropped to the back and got bum passed again in turn1 by @DannyvdMeer on lap 20. After that i managed to finish the race to get some points.

Glad this one is finished. Looking foward to the next one.

Yes, Mattia I saw the replay, it wasn't my fault. @Corentin_Bergès hit me as well. We three were close to each other, so I thought I hit you. As I mentioned I hit your car twice before, and in that situation I couldn't judge who hit who, so I waited for you.

Race 2 was much better, but because of my setup I couldn't defend anyone on the straight, so I lost some places.
My team mate @Battenberg was really fast in both of the races, so we could collect some good points for the team. ;)

I want to add something here. In blue flag situation, no one should hold back the lapping cars if they are fighting with each other. Even if the car lap behind faster than the group. If anyone will do me the favour to not holding me back, I'd gladly give him back the lap later on, when I'm alone.
