Now that was worse than all public lobby races I had in ACC...I am just speechless about the formation lap and the T1 pile-up... makes me wonder if this is still the right place to race...
Mate im really really sorry for the formation i've no excuse for what i did

I didn't even remember it was you @Ricardo Macieira , and it doesn't matter, really... seems like this has become the place were only the aliens can have fun. I prepared a whole week to get my lap times down, but it seems I am lacking some skills. I dunno.

@t0daY : Thx for your kind words, you becoming Jimmi Allison 2.0?....maybe you should search through your memories when this all started to "go down the drain", well not really down the drain, but I think you too have to admit, that there is a certain point in the timeline where it got significantly worse... bigger is not always better, you know?!

my wheel looked like this the entire race, so the 3rd place feels like a win to me... :dead:

I agree it wasn't the cleanest of races, but it's not all negative. A lot of it goes to awkward ACC formation lap mechanincs, the other part is down to Monza; just very very hard to go side by side through the chicanes. And of course first lap first chicane; that's a classic. Hard to find even RL series which gets through here clean.

I got rammed off track twice by someone pushing me from behind. The first guy 'forgot' to give back my place. The second one was better at the rules.

Feel free to report that then, there's no tolerance for that kind of stuff here so I guarantee once you do so, there will be consequences :)

Bad races happen every now and then but RSR is a fair league. Comparing it to public lobbies is just unfair imo.

Mate it’s round what’s your problem :p

Great race everyone! Shame about your spin @Exited amazing pace! Jeff kept me honest towards the end!
Awesome consistency mate with that beasty Lambo! Already picked a "quite" easy car to drive and still bottled it :-( FML!

But I have a good excuse. Did a 4.5h Kart race yesterday with some mates :)

Overall: loved it and learnt a lot about ACC.
Lessons learnt: Always check the session time, turn off auto start, actively adjust brake balance.

Car: Bentley 2018

Practice: I was happy as I was P4 when running with 115 litres of fuel (Didn't know you were all sandbagging :) )

Quali: P14 - Didn't realise this was at 5pm, it was too late my tyres were so cold before I notices - Missed opportunity.

Race: P12 - Didn't realise this was at 12pm, My tyres were bulging as I adjusted for an evening race (I jumped to conclusions after quali, I must read the whole post in future ) Really struggle with grip, braking understeer in to power oversteer especially on the last turn. Kept going and has some good battles. A few incidents at T1 but that corner is always evil. Didn't pit and had plenty of fuel even with engine map at 1 for the whole race. I assume the Bentley is efficient on fuel.

To sum up:
The start is messed up in this game, set-up and strategy is vital. The dynamic conditions of the track, time, temperature, etc, is amazing.

See you all next race. :)

Yes all these details of the game are truely awesome. This was my first race with RSR so the nerves got into me during Qualy  starting P21. I took the chance with a planned pit to start with just 70 l fuel and to have fresh tires halfway. That did not pay off so well. Pitted as P12 and finished the race as P15. Still an improvement from my starting position :D

Lots of things learned tonight. I had an awful qualy & race, but I'm quite enjoying the game and looking forward to the next round.

I have to say lap 1 was diabolical. Not the sort of stuff we want to see here at RSR at all. Does anyone have any footage? Also, does anyone have a copy of the replay? One of the things I learned was that Auto-save replay was turned off. OBS was giving me grief in Qualy too, so that was turned off as well. :banghead:

Feel free to open up a case in the stewards if you have footage - not giving a place back after contact will be punished.

Is it possible to do a server side setting, so the race is recorded by the server? Would be convenient.

There's nothing in the server handbook on that, but yeah that would be very handy!
There should be some features in options for the game to autosave replays, but also to save larger replays, so not only half an hour gets saved but the whole race.

It is under Options\General and it can be set to maximum 60 minutes. So for round 4 another solution would be needed - if the whole race should be somehow documented ;)

EDIT: I just checked, and there's actually an "autosave replay" function - I just turned that on. It is so easy to miss the opportunity at the end of the race.

being survived at the middle of the standing it's really hard at the beginning of the race.if you don't aware of your car behaviour with cold brakes and cold tyres what do you expect mate who hit me looks like a torpedo:).i Couldn't take his plate.
anyway 1 pit stop for repair and 1 penalty through pit lane i got.
classic monza report, pcars,pcars2 asseetto corsa and ACC result is same :)
thanks all joined friends and especially @Battenberg for great organisation.
