Another issue I've found on the mediums and softs if once you've had a moment the tire is dead and you almost need to stop for 30s to bring it back to life

That's exactly the issue i had at silverstone race 2.

Ok managed to fix it but the old tires are a different size and they dont have the grip. The ones off the Lotus 125 exo are good but again a different size, they are too big and throw off the gearing. Still think forcing hards is the best option.

Or have a look in the files, IMHO the temperatures are completly wrong and this could fix the rest, worth testing IMHO. Plus i had prepared a whole tire pack, it's killing me not to use it, plus i'd like some tyre strategy :(

Perhaps, If anyone else is able to take a look it would be great, maybe resize the tires off the lotus?

And I get you spent a lot of time on the tire pack so fair enough but imo there wont be a strategy with different compounds as there's no pitstops. it will just be 'who has worked out the best set up for the tire temp' because there's no real wear on them over 30 mins you just pick the fastest tyre you can without overheating and thats the winning strategy.

I'm not that sure about the wear. For me the purpose of tyre compound in this cup would/should be, if a choice between compounds is let to the pilots :
- Manage the tyre wear/temps if going soft tyres, with high degradation in the end of the race leading to drop in lap times and car more difficult to control.
Hard tyre would be the "i don't care about tyres" option, with tyre having almost constant grip along the race and requiring little tyre management.
Medium tyre would be something between that, with some perceptible wear but not as much as the softs.
- Manage the setup : high aero stiff setup need harder tyres

How to achieve that is another question, but tuning a bit params of the tyres should do the trick, tyre model is not very complicated and figures and LUTs are quite clear (and human readable !)

The use of the tyre pack is little issue, as i'll assign them to cars depending on the livery if we decide not to use different tyre compounds.
