ACC use real track limits. Some corners are way more strict than others, but i think it overall works very well, with stricter limits in quali than in race.

From online public lobby I know that you get 1 or 2 warnings and then a drive thru. I would judge the track limits or rather the "warning trigger" as rather generous from what I have seen. If you get a warning, you deserve it.

Quali off-track lap violation is pretty precise but still a tiny bit generous, if you get your lap invalidated you can be sure you were off track.

Well on some tracks like misano or nurburgring during a long race (it's 3 warnings to get a DT for >1hour race i think) when battling and pushing hard it's possible to get a DT. Zolder when the cones are away in the second chicane is a great place to get a DT easily ^^

You're right.

I just noticed in Brands that you can cut the apex of Westfield Bend and Sheene's Bend quite a lot without a warning. In this corners you can gain a couple of tenths.
You mentioned Zolder 2nd chicane. Same situation. You can cut the middle corner a lot without warning.

I have no problem with this if everybody stick to the ACC track limits. Which is fair I think.

But you know... RSR Driving Standards 2.4

So you say the ACC system is in your opinion reliable enough to use? I mean we can have a look into it if everyone is for it.

Yes it's pretty good. The track limits and penalties are realistic. Somewhere loose, somwhere strict. No slowdowns, but after 3 track limit violation you get a drive through.
But yeah it's a good idea to try it out on every track

Wasn't it in use already yesterday? I had one qualy lap deleted for running too wide over the kerbs, so I guess it was.

I don't think we can turn the in game penalties off, so they will always be active. As it can police track limits better than we ever can, and it does a pretty good job of it, we'll be letting the game enforce them for this season. So if the game lets you go beyond the white lines, that's ok with us.

It goes without saying however, if you find a major loophole somewhere that gains time, make it public knowledge in the relevant event thread so we can avoid blatant cheating. We're all doing this for fun and we don't want to get bogged down in TL arguments.

What I was trying to say is that the ACC System could be a reliable methode on top of our ruling and usual standards. I think it will not hurt if we also use ACC Cut-Track-Detection&Penalty System (sort CTDaPS). Ofc no one should feel inspired to drive to the invisible track limits. It would be there so some too risky fellas that make too many mistakes will get a reminder from the game and if they don't adept they get a DT.

Hey guys,
was checking my racing "schedule" and saw that the League i'm racing atm (terrible racing and attitude standards, regretted already that I signed up...) ends at 10th December.
So can I join you for the season final on 17th December? :)

Cheers!

Cheeky fucker, saw your rating of my post at the other forum;-)

The raw speed of some of the guys there is just unbelievable, but the driving standards and especially the atmosphere in Discord before and after the races are so dull...
I really miss the banter with you guys :D:happy:

Ok we will make sure to show you some raw speed then :D
No offense, but the speed of e.g. Mike Nobel is just alien level o_O
I can probably practice for the rest of my life and would still be 0,5sec slower than him :dead:
