Man.....We F* won omg.... Finally the luck was on our side this time.
I got us on pole and i dont know how i am not the best qualifier so yeah i'll take it. Then race start.... made a dumb cold tire mistake going to hot into chicanes before finish straight and got a slow down causing us to drop down to P10 or something. Gladly everyone was paying attention and no incidents happend.

Did my 2 stints and we were back fighting for hopefully the victory. After that alot was going around like @Exited spinning with cold tires out of pitlane and smashing best lap times after that, @Nismo getting a stop and go penatly and forgot to turn off tire change so 40sec and more for tires omg where is this race going to.....

@Nismo did great stints after the error and @CatchAGlimpse took over. Then it settles down a bit no weird things until @Nismo was behind the wheel and hit a competitor which was spinning on track due to a incident, Minor damage i think netcode saved us some there .Then @CatchAGlimpse was behind the wheel in the night ( this guy did a 24h without any sleep btw )he got punted of by a to late braking LMP car but gladly no damage at all so luck was playing in also.

@Exited and @CatchAGlimpse both pulled of a triple stint perfectly and i took over the wheel for the final 1+ hour. 1 Lap in front of P2 i was getting out of the pitlane few sec behind him and was catching fast but he wanted to battle to hard i backed down to secure our position without getting damage.

One more splash and dash for the last 20min still 1 Lap ahead of P2 going for the victory and we got it finally ! Thanks @Exited @Nismo @CatchAGlimpse for the 24h we shared together and got us the victory well done all !!

I Don't feel like breaking down the race as Jeff has already done that.

Great race, until the next one guys. (Oh and let it be clear.. We want to be team Blue again for the next one!) Our lucky color haha.

Well done to everybody who finished; Great results across the board for Team RSR. Some more fortunate than others but yeah thats racing in the end. Hope you guys all had fun at least.

Team Green - Qualified P13 had a solid start to the race with @Darksi driving, keeping it clean and smooth for his triple stint. I took over for a triple and to my surprise as i left the pit box i realised i had NO FFB, i continued and decide to do the whole stint with no FFB and during the pitstop restart my wheel(my equivilent to a F1 wheel change) thankfully this solved the problem and it was easy after that, the struggles i had practice were non existant in the race as has been the case at lemans before. towards the end of my 3rd stint 3 cars infront of us all had problems together which resulted in us moving upto P3 and eventually P2 just after @xImJakeyy took over, the pace was very impressive, (if not annoying that he was faster :D). Jakey closed the 1:45minute gap to the leaders within 3 stints and with only a handful of laps to go before handing the car over, caught them so much that they even brake checked us into the pitlane causing just a few seconds worth of optional repairs.

@Ben Watkinson took the car and put in some impressive consistency especially considering he took the car when it was well and truly night time. solid performance into the early hours before both Jakey and Ben headed to bed due to noise restrictions. Simon and I took the car from about 1:30am until 8am and shared the driving to keep us awake, general pace wasnt there over night with the car feeling slower while the leader and P3 were faster, P3 ultimately overtook us in the early hours and eventually went on to win the race. with the pace advantage they had we focused on keeping out of trouble and with the night shift being completely mistake free, not a single X or slow down making experience count while others behind struggled. our thoughts turned to building a gap to P4 and atleast securing 3rd place by giving ourselves a 2lap buffer by the end.

By 08:30 it was time to hand the car over to the day shift, while Simon had already gone for a break, i handed over to Jakey who then handed over to ben for the final 3 stints.

Overall as a team, we had just 24 incident points and only 2 minor spins during the race, but super consistent all race. It was an absolute pleasure to drive with Si, Jakey and Ben and finally get our podium.

Finally congrats to everyone involved in the race, each team put on a great show with some impressive results too!

This is how I got sucked in Jonno. It's a slippery slope being a supporter :D

Serious congrats to team blue, but really to everyone who took part. Just doing the damn thing and seeing it to the end is a heroic effort.

EDIT: Love the new tracker system for keeping people updated in race events btw. Very cool job.

Wow, what can I say? What an unbelieveable journey we had two last two days, close to perfect race for all of us four! :D

Tbh I was a little bit down after the 24h of Nordschleife, because I did so much practice for it, worked on the setup for about 2 weeks straight and did so many practice laps, but in the race we had so many issues and crashes after being in a comfortable P2 at the 4h mark that finishing the race itself was the only achievement at that day :) So I was not really motivated at first to practice and work on the setup that much again and did my first laps at around 1,5 weeks before the race. That Porsche was a tricky little MoFo at the beginning, when I started to push I was locking up the brakes like hell in every braking zone. But somehow on the Thursday before the race it just clicked and I was able to put out some really good laptimes. From then on I felt really confident for the race and my motivation was also skyrocketing :D

@Jeff[NL] did an amazing job in the qualy, putting us into P1 in GTE for the start of the race. Btw mate, I think that you are an excellent qualifier, you are never cracking under pressure and always are putting very laps in qualy for every race!
Race start wasn't really the best with the slow down, but I was so confident in our pace, that it wasn't a issue for me at all, especially after I saw how fast Jeff was gaining positions again.
I'm really happy with my stints, despite the spin on the cold tires and some slow-downs I haven't put a foot wrong and good pace, even though I was struggling a little bit in the double stint on the used tires in the night.
@CatchAGlimpse super consistent and also great pace! I'm really happy for you mate, that you went for the load cell pedals and that you can show your true pace now, without having to deal with that Thrustmaster pedals anymore!
@Nismo I'm not gonna lie, I was disappointed when you putted it into the wall at Nordschleife, but thats racing and what a performace you showed at this weekend! You took the worst graveyard stint imo (2.30 to 4.30) like a champ :)

What a pleasure it was, thanks a lot again guys @Jeff[NL] @CatchAGlimpse @Nismo , I will remember that weekend for always as it was the first endurance win for all of us! :)

Congrats to the whole RSR team, I think we all showed awesome performances in the various splits this weekend and everybody can be proud of what they achieved! For those who were haunted by bad luck, keep your head up, there will be a races in the future where you will be as lucky as we were this weekend in those two scary moments!

A special heads up for Team Black @Raigore @Puffpirat @t0daY @Alex Salmon . Followed your race a lot in Manus stream, you did an awesome job and held up the colors of RSR very high in Split2! Shame about the outcome, but nothing to be ashamed of! Still P2 in fucking Split2, you are absolutely mental guys!

Closing words for @t0daY . Even though I'm not super actively racing with you guys anymore (only due to time schedules) this forum and this community is still my go to for racing as you guys are simply the best community! I think this was a great weekend for RSR, every team contended in the race was in the game for the win in their respective split. Be proud what you have build up here!

Cheers,
Dom

After only just recovering from no sleep froma 24hr race and starting work at 2am monday morning I can finally give a review, first would like to say congrats to the other teams on finishing!

as for Team green starting in P13 with @Darksi putting in a good lap then to finish in top 3 I think we did a great job and for @xImJakeyy first 24hr race did a great job at being fast and consistant across the 24hrs. My first stint I didnth think would be that great since I would be straight into the night but went better than expected kept it on the track and out the wall had a few brown pants moments but other than that great and was a absolute please to get to finish the race even though we lost second place which was going to happen with high split drivers doing mad laps think as a team we was all happy with 3rd! and to say I carried the team for 4 laps in 1st place I'm rather happy with myself for that ;):D. I think myself @Darksi @Jamesl91 @xImJakeyy make a great team and would love to take on other 24hr events together! (not bathurst).
