Dear @Members,

It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we are announcing the permanent cancellation of our Project CARS 2 and Assetto Corsa leagues - that includes the two seasons about to take place (Revolution Cup / Evolution Series).

With a consistent reduction in signups over the last few seasons, we do not want to be hosting races where our members have nobody to actually race with. A race track with nobody on it is just a track.

We obviously owe an apology to those who were looking forward to both seasons but we hope you understand our reasons for taking such action. It must be stated, however, that our ACC season is still going ahead and everyone is more than welcome to join the upcoming league hosted together with Panther Racing Division.

Most importantly, RSR is not closing down. Far from it! We have some very exciting changes planned, which should re-ignite the sim-racing spark for a lot of you.

Stay tuned!

Your RSR Staff Team

Sad news but it's for the best, there's obviously little to no fun racing with less and less people. Hopefully Automobilista 2 gets major upgrades soon so it can take over PCars 2, we'll all race together again very soon :)

Sad to read but understandable.
Looking forward to see what RSR produces next
For those in the pcars league, who still wants to race?

Sad news.. pcars2 race yesterday looked very promising. Will have to wait for an AMS2 competition then ... seems to be the only serious option for racing in VR.

I do, but I think it will be on a time to time basis, maybe some sort of "fun nights" on Thursdays could do the trick ? ;)
We are happy to provide the RSR dedicated server. Also every RSR member is always more than welcome to use our TeamSpeak Server as well. If you want to sort something out please let us know :)

Last time i signed up for a league with races in workdays i had to skip more than half of the races, so i thought i would have been better this time to not sign up if couldn't guarantee a 70-80% attendance, it's no fun when when you have 30+ ppl signed like in the lmp-corvette multiclass league and then you see only 3 lmp in a race, it wasn't lack of interest by my side, it's just difficult to show up at 6.30 utc on workdays.

I had a feeling this would happen. Let's hope it isn't the beginning of the end of RSR but I feel it is :(

Every Staff Member is still onboard and we are working currently on some bigger changes in the background.

It won't be the end at all, just a bigger change. And we hope as many people as possible will make the change with us :)

I think it's ok after so many Pcars 1+2 Seasons to move on to a new "main" Game. Or perhaps 2. I thought some month ago it would be better to focus on one or two games mainly. RSR is perhaps getting bigger, but in comparison to racedepartment or similar still small - and that is good because it's more like a 'family'.
That are just my thoughts - with not so much people we still can fill some racetracks if we stay with few games, or if the staff finds another creative solution.
And by the way, if RSR commits to let's say focus on ACC i'll buy the game in an instant. I'm just not a fan of buying every game and doing just one race.

Keep moving forward - thanks the staff for all the work and commitment! :)

The ACC Championship continues. Def. worth buying, also in regards to Team Racing and Endurance Racing.

So which SIM suits all? Should be playable with single screen, tripple screen and VR and driveable with controller and wheel, preferably straight out of the box :wideyed:

Unfortunately ACC & PC2 are non-starters for me due to lack of VR support in ACC and too many connection frustrations in PC2.

AMS2 & AC are the only options really left on the table for me. Personally I've not got time to commit to sim racing right now, over the winter or if we go back into lockdown I'll have more time for it. I think I'm most likely to dabble into fun events or odd rounds of leagues as a reserve for the foreseeable future.
