Shouldn't have worried on the mountain section, I'm not that silly to try something up there where it would just be suicide.

My intentions was always down the back straight towards the final chicane, or the first long straight to T2.

You did put up a good defence however, was a good little battle.

I had a blast! Was great fun chasing @Henri in the first part..unfortunately I lost momentum after our cars touched in the uphill segment. Later I got 26 aero damage after I got hit by a car that had spun in 'The Cutting' (4th corner) and moved forward rejoining (or whatever) and hit me in the side just at the moment that I passed.
My excuses to @Pete Morrish I think... was going to pit and instead of pressing the 'pit in' button... I pressed the 'pit limiter' button...resulting in creating an instant road-block right in front of you and having you crashing into me... don't know what happened at the end of Conrod Straight after that when you crashed into me for the second time... might be my slow pace... top speed was only 262 km/h instead 285 km/h at the end of the straight. I will re-program my steering wheel 'pit' buttons to make sure this won't happen again.

So far one of my best races, I was also happy with my first 20 minutes at Sakitto, driving in 5th position. I need to work on concentration/focus and racecraft for next season. Only started with SIM racing in 2016 at the age of 50... and no, I didn't grow up with racing games since I was 8 ... gaming experience zero and only 516 hours of SIM racing so far...so I'm still a newbie compared to many others.

I would like to thank my team mate @Dama_The_Crow for his excellent support, I learned a lot from him and much appreciated his setups that gave me a good base to create a setup that matches my less sophisticated (non Fanatec) Logitech wheel and pedals. We probably won't be team mates next season because I think he is split 1 material. If he had only more time..hopefully he has next season...he might be next season's split 1 revelation....roasting some chicken maybe

Congratulations to @Stokemon and @UnstopaPaul for a great individual and team performance. Both also definitely split 1 material.... much impressed by Paul's progression, well done mate!

I think about separation from wife and family during next season so I will have enough time to learn tracks, test under all possible qualy and race weather circumstances, improve race craft and setup knowledge

Hope to see you all next season... keep up the pace... can't wait for those 3 magic words... drivers ready...and...GREEN! GREEN! GREEN!

That was me, not Pete.
I was wondering what happened there. But I stopped worrying when I realized that I come out fairly good from that hit, only had like 13 front areo dmg from it.

Thanks Shepard but because of the name of the file the game wouldn't recognise it. any chance of a re upload with the file name as it was?

I had to recreate the session to get a proper file name (only did one lap), the ingame video list shows wrong data, but the file works.

Rename it to mr-6cs7d9l2neamwe.med

Hallo Gents, Thank U all for the races. For my team mate, thanks for your input helping me. (and yes it was a
clean first corner race for me from 14th to 7th). Had a great race till the last S, Turning in when a Ford clipped me on the
back end and spun me sideways of the track and collecting him on the rebound. But all and all a good race. Managed a
top 10 finish, my best so far. Thank U all.

According to the results, I both finished 12th, and DNFd :thinking: (somebody is missing from the result list)

These recordings are almost redundant now that replays are working but here's my race anyway. Cheers all it was a lot of fun.

It was some lag. From my point of view, everything was fine, and I gave you room, and we didn't make contact. But given what I heard from your end, I suspect that your reality was a little bit different...

Your welcome, we just need to drag you into some of the online testing sessions so we can help.

And on default setups towards the beginning of our RSR membership, we were about the same pace during inductions. I've improved some of my tech (found some money) and technique (testing against Split 1's), since then.
