I've got some practice to put in for this one...I've been driving the Ferrari F50 all week, this is a very different car.

Mmmm looks like great fun but clashes with real life racing so will have to give this one a miss

Tested yesterday evening did at race conditions and had no problems with tyres. Actually i had to decrease tyre pressure to increase heat :).

Quite happy with my testing, @miagi used your setup from time trial as reference but tweaked it a bit. Really enjoying the drive, i think i have a very stable car.

Looking forward for Sunday race!

I did a bit of testing earlier, They did get pretty hot but not as bad as I expected. Wear on the other hand is a different story. There's no way that I can last the hour on one set...I might even be in the pits twice depending on how much the other cars laying down rubber helps. :banghead:

thats wierd....i did not have any problem whatsoever either with tyres, i did probably 7 ou 8 laps before pitting and almost no tyre degradation. But then...you are probably a few seconds faster than me and i've checked your setup too from time trial and it's a bit more savage :D.

haha yah, I'm pretty much in a constant powerslide for the whole lap. Great fun but completely murders the tyres. Gonna have to do a fair bit of practice on Sunday to get some consistency i think.

Hoping to get some race length practice runs in before Sunday...going to be tricky racing in a car that’s so slidey and a little unstable especially on a fairly narrow track. We all need to be sensible to avoid mayhem on this one.

Its a tough car for me to drive. But, it will be good racing experience. The goal is to keep it on the black stuff, out of the barriers and all the other cars on track. Its going to be intense!!!

from what we experienced at Thursday's sprint night everyone should take it very easy the first time coming to the tight hairpin as on the first lap the braking distance is even higher than normal because brakes aren't on temperatures

Guys I may have to pull out if I cannot resolve the game stuttering and frame drops I'm getting in this new update. 4.5 hrs before the game re-installs. Fingers crossed I hope it fixes the problems. I'll confirm closer at the time

Ranj, there's no need to reinstall game. Usually if you get some weird game behaviour all you need to do (and be sure that you do it after each update) is to check game files integrity and delete your profile folder from ...documents/Project Cars 2/savegame/72456509/
