It is anniversary time! Welcome to the Czech Republic where we will be racing the procar of the motorsport division of BMW, the mighty M1. Brno is a track with wide and open turns and will give lots of overtaking opportunities. The event will last for 1 hour.

Gentlemen's Agreement: Default Setup

The gentlemen's agreement will be that before we transition into Quali we will all reset the setup to default and max the fuel for both quali and race (if not already max'd) and save it. We had issues last time with people not getting the same fuel levels when the lobby was set to use default setups.

Hey H4milton,

You have to go first through our Induction process. As soon as you gained Probation status (Yellow Badge) you can participate in all of our events. You don't have to sign up for each event, just turn up in Teamspeak at the correct starting time (preferably a little earlier).

Procar is arguably the best vintage car in game (followed by Bmw and Zakspeed) and i can hardly attend thursay races

Oh I'll be taking part, without doubt. I love the BMW M1. Not so much of a fan of Brno but the combination works quite nicely. Should be a really nice race .

Hadn't run this car or track before at all...

I'm in love with the M1 now, fantastic fun to drive!

Did about 15 laps on Monday and managed to get a flow going in the 2.03s, best was a 2.03.2. Tried again last night and just couldn't get a rhythm going, stuck in the 2.05s...

The track is a bit of a bland modern-ish 90s GP circuit style, set in nice scenery, but hardly inspiring. Pre-Tilke so it at least does flow without awkward chicanes and would probably be good for track days.

All the corners are medium speed, each corner quite nice on its own, but little to make any stand out. Seems like it could be half the distance and you wouldn't really notice.

I reckon passing here is going to be pretty much impossible though.


Maybe one day we can get the legendary Brno road circuit, M1 would be exciting round there!

I did a few laps last night, such an awesome car to drive. Last time we did this I didn't have my shifter and now I have it's just upped the enjoyment. I was into the 2:01.4's with low fuel and the race weather settings. I had a great battle with Puff last time and I'm hoping we can do the same again. Happy to say there are no signs of punctures this time!

It'll be interesting to see how the tyres wear during the race.
