iRacing Binding Fanatec F1 Rim encoders to Traction Control in iRacing (1 Viewer)

Has anyone got a Fanatec F1v2 rim and bound the left encoder (the 12 position one) to traction control or traction slip. the encoders have 12 settings, the iracing option has 12 settings. Seems like a perfect match...but I just cannot get it to work. I've tried the "use rotary knob" option with -1, 0 and +1 offsets, but in all scenarios the encoder will only set the value to 1 or 12. Worse than that, the moment its bound, the next time you get in the car it immediately puts the value to 12.

Anyone worked this puzzle out? Seems made that I can't use these encoders as intended.

have you looked in the tuning menu "MPS FNC) setting, you can select what way the encoders work.
