I am definitely not praying for rain...!
With the track being what it is, qualifying will be more important than ever, but so will the ability to lap consistently without getting damage. Unfortunately for me, Bathrust was never a track I was particularly good/quick at, I'll try my best nonetheless to end the season on a good note!

I want to add, it was great to have the opportunity to race here at RSR, so despite the challenge posed by the track, I am looking forward to have some fun with you lot for the last time before a while. I can only wish my competitors good luck and hopefully we all have fun and nor get too frustrated.

Unfortunately unable to make this one. Internet has been down for over a week, only had periodic connection via 4G Potable WiFi Hub. just received new Hub. Not having had time to practice and with it being such a tight circuit I think it would be best for me not to take part. Sorry Guys!!! Have a good race.

Guys........my son asked me to watch CL with him this evening and as it doesn't happen that often that he asks me as he had a rough time behind him, I will skip the ACC race and spend some quality father-son time with him. Sorry for this late call from me... Have a fun race all!

Excuse my eagerness to post, how on earth am I going to sleep now?

I'll say this, I was happy with my pace. 160+ laps for sim grid qualifying paid off I think. Except for hitting the wall once, and an awful pitstop, I'm happy with the race.

Shout out to my super teammate @hinesy32 . He was super consistent the whole season. In the race now he was the only one, I think, who was able to keep up with @David Siska and me. He let me past twice, once after my first stint mistake, once after my terrible pit. It allowed me to try to chase david all the way home.

There was never going to be a real chance of me catching david, but I tried my best anyway. What a pity that the mountain had to claim you. Thanks for calling it out, and waiting for us to pass. Gentlemanly conduct. Tough tough luck man.

Happy to win my first race at RSR! (even with a depleted grid.)

Great season guys! As with all seasons it is a pity that participation petered out. But those that kept coming back, it was nice racing the same people race after race.

And again, super teammate @hinesy32 , super season and super team result. You are a great teammate. Brilliant drives at every race. Congrats man, I think that should give us the team championship as well!

What a race! I wasn't expecting this outcome, Mount panorama - Bathurst being one of the hardest track where you flirt with the wall. One of my favourite track but it doesnt mean ii m the fastest on it. We saw some pretty fast qualy time, i even made my best time during qualy, 2:04:something that granted me the 8th position on the grid. Not bad even if we are fewer than the others races.

Green green green, let's go for the survival race, very quickly 2 groups are visible on the track and i am the last in the first group, i can't follow that pace for so long its too risky, I am here to finish the race and 8th pos is pretty nice already.

Half race im last one to get in the pits, get out in 6th pos, really well done pit crew! I can see my teamate that had a marvelous pace today in front of me in the straight, 4sec separate us, but not for long, i dont go as fast as he does, and I am more preoccupated by the 7th being faster than me too, i keep my pace not too fast not too slow, i just pray that the car behind me will be patient and try a pass in a safe zone. I can keep him away for a moment but then that backmaker in a McLaren is on my way, lets pass him down the mountain in the straight. Ok everything is smooth and ... what? why i am spinning in the grass? I can hear in my radio the Aston driver apologizing.

Lets go back to race and not loose too much time. Well only 20min to go i bet on not repairing right now and see how much time i m loosing per lap, after a quuick math i did well not to pit for repair it would cost me too much time. 3laps to go, status check: how come I am 4th now? And is it my teamate in the mirror? I could get asnwer to this quickly, and we finished the season on a nice 4 - 5.

Thanks for the kind words @kobusnell :)

It has been a really fun season. Apart from my disaster at Paul Ricard I feel I have been competitive and definitely improved my consistency. Myself and @kobusnell have been very close at some of the races, in others I've been left behind. I was quite surprised that after 3 races I was in the top 6 in the league.

I knew I could do 2:02s at Bathhurst, but couldn't quite get my best lap together and just sneaked into P3 with a 2:02.9. Staying out of the walls is really key here and it is very easy to just push a little too hard and hit the walls. Decided to not be a hero and be consistent. I think I nudged the walls maybe 2 times in the whole race, but thankfully only a glancing brush and not a full whack. Got a good pitstop done and with only 14 drivers on track the traffic was nice and light. Let Kobus pass as I knew he was faster and could mount an attack on @David Siska Real shame you had your accident mate. It was a fun first half hour trying to keep up with you and Kobus. So, P2 was a real bonus and a surprise, although with a full grid I was confident I could finish in the top 10.

Thanks to everyone for a great season, the racing has been fun and clean. And thanks as always to the staff for putting it all together.

Looking forward to the next ACC season!

Was a nice and fun race. My pace was better than expected and I could keep in P4 during most of the race until I recognized I didn't have enough fuel to finish the race. Had to do a second pit stop with 5 min to go to get another 10l of fuel. This cost me P3 in the end :(
