It would be nice if I could subscribe to the event calendar directly with my phone or outlook. Is there perhaps a ical / ics feed url directly to the calendar?

Unfortunately that is not possible with our calendar plugin. We had that already in mind but the developer informed us that this won't be in any near future update 
I wonder what else we can do about it, hmm...

Just for completion, what I do at the moment is reading the rss feed - and there are the informations about new events as soon someone creates a new thread.
And there is also the possibility to get alerts (='watch forum') with or without email for the "Official Event" Sub-Forum if you don't like rss feeds.
