Project CARS 2 Custom Livery Question (1 Viewer)

So, I've been making custom liveries for a short while and have never really started exporting them to a format that pCars2 uses until yesterday. While reading up on the correct way to export them I've bumped into a thread that states you, you and only you can see your custom livery, no one else can see it, unless they have that same exact livery installed on their local machine.
Is this true? If so, that's kind of a bummer. And it's a +1 of Gran Turismo.

Correct. Unless you send the other person that livery file, they will only see the plain white car when you are on track.

It was a requested feature by quite a few people through pCARS1 and 2 development. No doubt it will be requested again if pCARS3 ever goes into development, along with a million and one other things!

Yeah, I won't pretend to know what SMS has on their plate, but I'd say customs are pretty important these days.
