Same here. I loved the first game but I think it was a bit of a beautiful aberration. I don't think Codemasters generally make good driving games and going backwards with no VR support is unacceptable.

Tried Dirt Rally Vr only yesterday and it's one of the most immersive experiences ever, i felt like my chair was jumping over bumps!

approximately 100% of replies to the codemaster tweet of the trailer are "so is there VR"/"No VR no purchase"

It's a vocal minority thing for Codemasters though. One of my online friends is a Dutch videogames journalist so he's spoken to them directly about this. It's a purely business decision, as they think the time and resources they'd have to spend getting VR working are better used elsewhere. I see where they're coming from but as gamers we can only vote with our wallets. I definitely won't buy the game unless they add VR at a later date, which I doubt they will.

yeah I refunded my deleuxe edition, didnt read about it correctly, now knowing VR is out around summer I'll pick the game up on sale and wait till then.

I too have bought it but on oculus store, I must say it runs a lot smoother than steam version from what my mates have said as its buggy and laggy on steam, but oculus store version runs great....how ever ive no sound at all tried running through tv and headphones nothing, seems a lot of people are getting thsi bug fixed soon i hope, but for now i have to make my own car noises sisnce i cant hear the games
