Description: Ive put a lot of thought into this and decided to post here after much consideration and opinions from friends and fellow racers. I believe i was run off track by @SBart_uk at the top of Eau rouge but do not believe it was done with any intent, he is a much faster driver than I so perhaps was not expecting a challenge their.
On that basis I would very much like to see no form of penalty applied but perhaps a reminder to new members of special awareness. I believe had I been racing one of my usual competitors this incident would likely not have occurred and I would've been given space. My apologies to the 20 cars behind me who's races were affected by this.
Evidence: Skip to 03:35 for lead up to the collision.

Yes I would have to disagree that I ran you off the track. After watching your video just running a little wider where there was plenty of space would have avoided the whole thing. I'm not saying I'm completely blameless as I could have kept it a bit tighter too but to say I ran you off the track is an unfair assessment in my opinion. I'll link to my replay too so you can see from my point of view.
edit... i would like too add that i think its a 50/50 incident as we both could have done more to avoid it

Having reviewed both videos, the stewards have concluded that this is a normal racing incident. @SBart_uk's video shows him taking the normal line through Eau Rouge and it is simply unfortunate that @Mark Baggaley was to his right at the exit.

The stewards would, however, like to remind all drivers to exercise a little more caution and patience at the start of a race, especially through the first few corners. If possible, try and use your mirrors and look-left/look-right a little more frequently than you would for the rest of your race and, finally, it is worth installing CrewChief if you have not done so already.

Are you both happy to release this publicly? If one refuses the thread will stay hidden, please leave a reply in here.

No problem at all to release it.
