I was having my car MOT'ed in a nearby town (passed, phew), and I saw some signs for a Rally event at the local circuit. It's 10 mins away, and I had nothing else on that afternoon, so why not? Best spontaneous decision in a while! Here's some highlights from my album.

I only had my phone, and I took loads of video first (I'll upload some soon...), so the battery was dying as I ran around taking these last photos. The sights, sounds and smells made for a great day

Yep, VW leaving are leaving WRC too. Delayed effects of the emissions scandal I suppose.

It's definitely a shame to see Audi go, and being back to only 2 manufacturers at the front can't be healthy. But hey, at least there's 3 other classes to watch! GTE is always nuts, and P2 especially has been amazing lately

Wasn't there a big panic a couple of years ago when rumours were circulating that Ferrari couldn't afford to race in both Formula 1 and GT racing and were considering leaving F1?

Can't race with a clean diesel if your last clean diesel is from 1988.

And you need all your cash for damages.

This weekend I had an awesome time away with Dad at the final WRC round in sunny Coffs Harbour, Australia (approx. 8hrs north of Sydney). This was such an awesome experience to see the best in the world do their thing. Insert photo/video dump. Hope you enjoy!

Not racing, it's a show, looking at the Historic Race scene here in the UK. Went a couple of years ago and was talking to Win Percy, legend!

Don't mind him Ramiboo, K-man is from Port Elizabeth and that is quite common for them to get things wrong like distracting his fellow team mate at 24HRS of Daytona making him hit the wall. Just typical of them P.E. people to get things wrong all the time.
