Everyone is free to create their own liveries and although there are no 'rules' for what you create, any offensive or non-RSR branding (ie, advertising non-RSR leagues/teams) can be rejected. Do not place logos on the front and/or rear windows.

Files must be created in .PSD format and uploaded to your own preferred file sharing. Once you have uploaded the file, click here, add Noztra to the conversation and post a link to your file in there. Liveries submitted through any other route will be rejected.

1 - General Considerations

1. First, i hope it will be usefull for some, the templates are this time available as GIMP files (.xcf) and PS files (.psd).
2. Contrary to the previous car, decals and skin are in separate files (skin.psd and decalsHR.psd) and are to be generated as separated dds textures.
3. Somes spaces are reserved on both templates.
4. Numbers are going to be generated depending on your wish : you can request a number between 1 and 99 but it's NOT up to you to generate or design them. They are available in two colors white or black. Numbers should be requested by filling the following template.

For testing purpose, you'll find in the template zip file the four possible configurations (decalsHR_WW.dds, devalsHR_WB.dds, ...) with example #00. Just pick the one you want, rename it decalsHR.dds and drop it into your skin folder.

2 - Skin

This is what you see with all layers and guides activated.
Guides are symetry guides and there to help if you need to duplicate something from one side to another easily.
There are 5 guides :
- horizontal, from top to bottom : low body, front wing part 1, main body
- vertical, from left to right : front wing part 2, rear wing sides

Now we can go through the layer list :

Layers are divided in groups : besides each layer or group of layer is written what to show / not show at export to have the final car aspect.

• Group HELP (HIDE) :
  • UV is the usual layer frame, to help you identify part and lines of the car
  • KEEP CLEAR is very important : it shows red and yellow colors:
    • red means keep clear, anything here will be deleted at export (in other word, you can paint here but it will disappear anyway ) → rear wing logo. This will be shown as carbon on the final car.
    • yellow means : no high contrast, if possible a plain color area. No lines, drawing, or high contrast transitions. It's the place where numbers and logos are going to be.
• Layer keep clear (SHOW)
  • This layer shall always be visible. It clear what's underneath the red areas mentionned on the previous point
• Layer AO (SHOW)
  • This layer is usual. It acts as a multiplier, giving contrast and volume to your livery
• Group WORK_GROUP (SHOW)
  • This is the ONLY PLACE where you have to edit / add calcs. This is the place where you design you livery. You're free to do whatever you want in this group.
• Layer AO_BACKGROUND (HIDE) :
  • If you want to see what you're doing, better activate it when working to see what you are doing
• Layer KEEP_VISIBLE (SHOW)
  • Mainly for GIMP users, fixes the bug of the alpha layer. Keep it on on GIMP, dunno on PS. (it won't harm)

3 - DecalsHR (Optional)

This is the layer for decals and sponsors. Of course you might want to add them in the skin file and you're free to do so, though it's not advised, as it will be more pixelised.

Now you just have to design a wonderful livery ! Please also note, tyres will be delivered as a tyre pack, so don't lose time creating new one as they will be unused.
