Hey all,

Easter Newbie Race Night:

This time we will be driving the Formula R, which should make for some great close racing on these two tracks for this weekend.

Date/Time: Saturday night 31st March @ 20:00 UTC

Two Race Format (Non-Ranked Race)

Race 1
Track: Hockenheim National
Car: Formula R
Session:
A 20 min practice and 10 min qualify and the main race being 12 laps.
Conditions: Standing start/clear weather/afternoon race with
Full Damage ON.

Race 2
Track: Sakitto Sprint
Car: Formula R
Session: (at a guess this might start around 2100 UTC if you can't make the first race)

A 20 min practice and 10 min qualify and the main race being 12 laps.
Conditions: Standing start/clear weather/afternoon race with
Full Damage ON.

Rules of the track will be same as per standard RSR track/conduct rules.

So on the night turn up on the RSR Teamspeak @ 19:50 UTC and we will go from there, there will be a server set up.

This Newbie night is for new drivers to improve their race craft with similar skilled drivers. But experienced drivers are more than welcome to join in too.

Also for those who live outside of the UK here is a website that is useful to work out your UTC difference. Just enter your region and it will list some info; including how much you need to add or subtract to work out what the UTC will be in your country.
http://www.timebie.com/

Can I ask those interested please leave a comment if you think you will be able to make both races or just the one for an idea of grid start numbers. Late comers are welcome too on the night.

See you on the track!

Cheers
Daza

Do you really mean UTC 20:00? Its 21:00 London and 22:00 Berlin.
(I can‘t be there but just in case. No problem with the time for me then )

I love open wheelers, wheely wheely love them

I'll join in. Should be back from parents by 21:00. Obviously after all the newbies have a spot first.

Date of the first post seems a little off (copied from last week).
Standard setup? or should we tweak?

Hope to be there

It appears I will be missing the race due to an unscheduled visit. Good luck to all and have fun!

Yep i i there for Newbie night. Last wkends night run by Daza was great with just 4 of us nearly 5. But more the better & open wheel Cars so much fun. the FR 35 or Formula Rookie cars just have enough power for newbies to get use to open wheel racing & you can catch them if their try to spin out so lot of fun & looks like going to be few more drivers which makes it even better. See you guys at 21:00hrs UK time for me 22:00 Euro time.

Well ANOTHER amazing Newbies Night Racing. With Sever Host Laserbeak43 & running it was Daza.
There was a few more drivers this week 7 total so getting more in has it goes along. Everyone talks before the races so we know what is expected of us but if with the little rules with have it great fun for all new or old !!!

So if your not doing nothing on a Saturday night then why not pop along to Newbie Night you will be very welcomed into the room. We all have to start off somewhere so dont worry about the way you drive that is what the night is for everyone helps others out with tips on maybe set up or where to start braking :)
Hope to see some new drivers on NEWBIE NIGHT !! :)

It was gr8 fun!! Sorry I could only do 1 race!! 22:00 is bed time (military rule set). Had my first Pole that was awesome, but the race nerves still there and messed up a little. but a nice recovery to 4th. Keep up the gr8 work guys.

Yeah, I also would like to pop in occasionally, but 22pm local time is just too late.
