I hope I definitely know the answer, but for the sake of certainty...

Daytona is known for several parts of the track that are in real life cut very heavily - for example, the exit to the turn 2 hairpin is taken extremely wide. Can I just confirm it will be normal RSR rules all the way (2 wheels inside)?

As always, if nothing stated otherwise it is always 2 wheels inside the white lines.

Any tips on fuel tactics (only done a bit of time trial, no real practice)? I'm thinking one stop with tyre change, but how much fuel?

30 minutes = approximetely 37-40 liters (according to yesterday's practice)

If I knew the track better, 1:49 should be possible for me.
Reduce brake duct opening to get heat in the tyres, think I have front 15%, rear 0%.
Steel discs perform best at 600 °C, should be at 390 °C before entering big braking zone.... for what I remember from Nighttiger's setup guide.

low 1.49 / high 1.48s for the aliens... for the rest of us mere mortals, 1.50 is fast enough. 1.51 for most is likely to be race pace (I say that hopefully)

Well this is the worst start I've had to a championship. 3 races, total of 7 laps completed . I think I must have clipped a button on my wheel that mapped to escape or back or something.

To ease the pain I decided to stream and spectate. I'm not sure if it can be called commentary, but here you go.

** = We will not use the ingame feature. All drivers must follow a Gentlemen's Agreement of a mandatory pitstop, at any time of your choosing during the race, where you must change all 4 tyres. Taking additional fuel is optional but not mandatory. The mandatory pitstop must be followed by at least one complete lap, during the scheduled race duration.
