thanks. Just finished the thread before hitting the road for vacation. Guess my head was already somewhere else, apologies.

Regarding the tire wear, it will stay accelerated :)

Just realised I might, and will probably, miss the first race of the season. :inpain:
I am going away for work, and although the dates aren't fixed yet, it'll probably be this week, and if so I'll miss the race.

I've done some practice for race 2, and race pace I'm looking at high 46's, low 47's. It is such a difficult track to master. Keep in mind I finished 2nd or 3rd from last the Mugello race.

yeah the final sector keeps putting me in the barriers...
I'd probably be on target for a high 1.44 if i didnt have to be so cautious on the throttle for the first 2 corners in the final sector

I think 1.43s/low 1.44 will be a quick race pace - I dare say we may even see 1.42 in qualifying

I followed the TT times, where 1:42 was best, but there they made extensive used of the kerbs, more than what we allow. I'd love to watch the race while I'm away and see how you guys do it, it's a pity we don't have a broadcast this season. I expected being slow, pity I'm THAT slow.

Managed a 1.44.3 on the Time Trials, but trying to do that consistently is not happening hahaha

cruising around on RSRserver2 if anyone wants to come practise with me =)
usual RSR server 2 pw - not the usual rsr test pw

mmmmmmm think the tyre wear issue is gonna become a common issue imo. A few slides &/or spins & the tyres will be useless.... for a car that likes to slide, the accelerated wear is gonna cause a number of headaches.
Out of curiosity, was the red bull/ A1 ring set to accelerated wear as well?

I played a bit with Jussis suspension calculator and quite like the following settings. Go down on the rear sway bar one click, maybe two if it's too twitchy, they are at default values in the screenshot.

Just made few laps with those settings, car looks stable, but likes to slide at some corners, with accelerated tire wear it will be a problem :D I'm begginer at sim racing, but I was able to make constant laps around 1:47:0-1:47:5 with official race date and weather. No clue if it's good or bad time, but I'm happy that I'm constant :)
