No extension as you come onto the back straight?
Also, which session is wet? or do we have changing conditions wet to dry vice versa or are we just typical British weather (damp & foggy)?

Want to get some practice in for this one in comparison to Barcelona o_O

Can confirm, you won't be getting any slick tyre heroics with this car in the rain... it handles better but its 4s a lap slower than wet tyres which just understeer all over the place around 7s a lap slower than in dry conditions...
Can also confirm - mixing compounds doesn't help.. all terrain on the rear feels good but GOD DAMN its slow.
need to test with more than me on track with regards to light rain & switching to slicks
Puddles aren't deadly in this car either

I just heard i cannot join Rd3 because a meeting was planned during the race.

So with 2 rounds missed I want to pull out of the championship so someone who can complete everything can take my place.

I may or may not have raised the bar :pompous:
Setup's are legit identical across the cars, feels like the opel has a bit more grunt but loses out on the mercs ability to carry speed through a corner. but thats just my judgement.

There is another half second available if you could extend the track onto the back straight...
Any word on this @t0daY?

Dont know why your so concerned with being the fastest TT... Its a different ball game with other cars on the same track that you cant drive through....:cool::cool:

I'm not. I generally stop trying when I realise I'm the fastest controller player
But for this round I'm gonna be struggling with the wet anyway haha. Even @daniel v was able to lap faster than me in the rain by 1.2s a lap :dead:

Hey does anyone know how to keep the rear tires warmer? They never really heat up. Especially In the rain

easy answer?
Stop trying. The rear tyres on these cars are there purely to keep the car off the ground, nothing else. Don't worry so much about them.
You want to be aiming to keep a consistent 1.18 in the race during the rain. You can go faster for the first 2/3 laps but try not to otherwise you'll find yourself going slower & slower with every passing lap.

Maybe add some rear downforce? I have mine in the Astra on 3, tyre temps are ok. Add rear downforce makes you slower on the straights but more stable in fast corners. During a full length race I prefer a more stable car. Being fast doesn't make sense if I lose the car and spin every 5th lap :)

I’m going to have to miss this one due to real life commitments, shame because I like Silverstone and racing these cars.
