Wrong thread @Jonno lol

Do we need Special Track Limits here?
@RevolutionCup10
If people are sensible with the chicane prior to the back straight we should be groovy for the rest of the season in regards to track limits imo

If you mean the full speed chicane at the beginning of Sector 2 you are absolutely Right. Its very easy to cut the track there without even noticing yourself.
We had this issue with a bunch of drivers (including me) in a previous revolution cup.
Perhaps it‘s good to check your driving with replay before the race :)

Like I said after this week's race, we need to a least ask how people feel about end of S1 / beginning of S2 (right-left before the straight). I think someone that cut/runs wide because he s doing it wrong and loses grip is still faster than someone who carefuly respects the white lines. I will try to make a video and clear indications. My point of view about it is no need for track limit extensions but members should do their part and call out in a friendly manner if there's consistent cutting of these two corners

Track is listed as Silverstone International in OP (copy/paste eh?)

My son's birthday is on 19th, but as he has one of his very few schooldays on his birthday (not a happy bunny about that) I should be able to race on the 18th because we'll do stuff at the weekend....

Sadly, I'm preoccupied on june 18th. So I'm signing off for this one. See you in round 4, hopefully.

a 'perfect' clean lap is gonna be around the 1.35.5 mark for quali imo
race pace, depends on how you manage/cope with burning both front tyres

Seems the Merc is the faster of the 2 once again. Did a 1:37.4 in TT , but a 1:36.8 should be possible for me with the Astra (if I do not @#$%$ up the final and last corner).

I win most time by turning in very late and sharp into T1 and T15. Also turn in late into T16/17 so I get a more straightened out line towards T18/19.

Very technical track ... and only the main straight to relax a little.
I like the track because it offers a lot of options for overtaking, and the racing line is not the most defensive one.
So with close racing you have to find the right 'fast but defensive' balance for your racing style.

To be fair.... I did that time on my second run & didn't try to go any faster...
I already noticed that both your laps were far from perfect .... neither was mine :banghead: :)
