If the time trial time for this circuit is anything to go by, I think we're gonna be racing around the 1.56/57 mark for us mere mortals &/or controller players :woot:
love a good copy paste post aha

Come on, we can do much better than that. We just need more practice ;)

I'd be absolutely amazed if they managed to get near a 1.53.5 for qualifying ;)
faster than that & i'd be wanting to check their replays very closely o_O

I love how you can be 5+ sec off pace like you never drove a racecar before... with the radical after a few clean laps I'd find my pace with a reasonnable 0.5 to 1s possible improvement. Here it's like the margin for grip is so tiny that I'm constantly out of it. I don't undersand that car xD

Hi folks, sorry but I'll not be at this one. I've been ill all week and not great today. GL. I might pop in for a spectator slot/broadcast slot since the race was so epic last week apparently (if you're not busy inspecting the state of the gravel like I was)

Can anyone give me any tips on how to approach the Mercedes? I haven't driven it in ages, and my practice time is limited, so would like to hit the ground running :)
My experience at Imola:
When you go fast, brake in straight line only
Avoid kerbs under braking
Focus on slow in fast out, if you go in too fast, you lose the car easily
You can win most time with good exit from the chicanes (slow in, fast out)
At corner turn in focus on the little stones next to kerb (inside of kerb) for grip, kerb itself very tricky/slippery
