That was me. I was wondering what happened there.
Really sorry for that, like I said wasn't intentional. Everything just went so fast and I just saw the car on my right side flying towards me that I thought I have to go more to the left side without double checking if there is free space.
Hope it didn't affect you too much, could not see what happened to you after T2...

took a bit of front end damage but nothing major, i was pretty much at back anyway so no harm done really. Didnt think it would of been intentional, obviously i didnt see the car to your right squeezing you over.

Well that was an eventful and interesting start to the season for me, Also fairly new back to assetto as I haven't driven on it for a looong time thanks to iRacing so my pace felt somewhat off what I would have liked. Saying that, as the event went on i felt more and more comfortable on track and with the car so hoping for some better events throughout the season.

Race 1 didn't get off to a great start, desperately wanted to not live up to the reputation @t0daY introduced me with... but it seems someone else had the kindness to help me out with that! Kept it clean off the start, kept my distance to @Noztra in front, braked early/cautiously etc etc then out of nowhere someone's hit me from behind, i then end up facing the wrong way on track in T1 and the mayhem was inevitable. Hopefully others on track will be a lot more cautious on race starts and not be as desperate to gain places straight away! I did another 10 minutes or so of the race until I got caught by an unfortunate spin from @t0daY @Ellisimo and someone else. Decided to call it there and focus on race 2.

Race 2 went much better! Starting in 29th I had a nice clean start, gained a few positions due to others getting mixed up in the exit of T1, but generally it looked clean up ahead. Had a lot of fun pressuring people throughout and keeping the pressure on the guys in front. As the race went on I worked my way up to finish in P12 which i was very happy with considering. Had lots of great battles with many cars throughout and pleased to say it was a pleasure driving around you all...! Had a big deficit in top end speed, I left my wing angle on stock, think a lot of others had lowered this considerably. Meant for great difficulty trying to stay in the slip stream on the back straight, then try to make a move throughout the latter sections and pull away before returning to the back straight only to loose the gap again, rinse & repeat, finally paid off with a few cars (can't remember any names unfortunately!)

Oh man... that was not really my intentions!! I just instantly connected your real name with it because I saw it in the racespot livestream. Apologies if I stepped on your shoes :(

Guess that was the moment where @Dama_The_Crow decided to kill me... did not know you were caught in it, meh...

All good @Dama_The_Crow. You did not spin on purpose I know, although I have to say would have been nice if you actually wait for me next time :)
I know what you saying, but I felt so much pressure from three cars behind me that when I spinned, then someone (I didn't know who) hit me, and in that moment in time I had no idea who got affected with that. I actually think that I slowed down but didn't know exactly who I need to let pass me :)

But I still refuse to stet on names above cars, it destroys my immersion although it would be easier than to know who is who :)

Having only done 15-20laps practice 1hr before the race I wasn't fully prepared. With the Rolling start procedure being new to the Evolution Series, i decided to start at the back and make sure it all went smoothly. The formation was really good and the start of a fun evening. I made up quite a few places in the first corner due to the accident. I realised i didn't have much straight line speed so struggled to overtake, i settled for P22, it was a rather uneventful race for me, being quicker than those behind but not quick enough to catch those in front, too much rear wing was to blame.

Race 2 went much better, i made it up to p15 in the early laps but unfortunately made a mistake at Turn 4 which put me back into 19/20th. I had a group of 4-5 cars in front that i was able to comfortably stick with. this was great to see as it was close competitive and most importantly, respectful driving. Due to my straight line disadvantage i could keep on the back of them but couldn't quite get enough to overtake. My highlight of the race was a short but sweet battle with @Ricardo Macieira who did a good job of defending!

Overall it was a good start to the season and I will certainly try and find some more pace with the tractor car.

Don't panic no shoes were stepped on! I just wanted to up my game and couldn't haha.

This one was my fault to be fair. Saw you guys go off, passed you both, then I think I focused more by looking in my mirrors at you guys I didn't notice @Ellisimo on the grass a hundred metres or so down the road. I ended up hitting him by mistake! I just have been distracted, as I'd set you (@t0daY) as my target to catch and you coming off made me achieve it...momentarily at least haha.

I thoroughly enjoyed last night's racing, I'm very excited for the rest of the season. Here's my video & timestamps:

13:50 - Qualy lap
25:05 - Race 1 start
40:20 - Close scrap for 10th ahead between @Nada and @DannyvdMeer, cheeky cutback in an odd place to take P11 :D
52:50 - The moment I realise I don't have enough fuel to finish the race.
53:50 - final lap & big fuel saving.
1:05:13 - Race 2 start . Pretty mad racing from the start!
1:08:03 - @t0daY sends it.
1:08:38 - I return the favour.
1:11:00 - 1 step forwards, 2 steps back.
1:12:17 - scrapping with @Exited.
1:13:12 - Opportunistic move into the final turn, fight into T1.
1:17:40 - Getting crowded again, I survive a kerfuffle.
1:22:10 - I survive another one.
1:27:45 - Exited wiggles past.
1:30:30 - I nearly spin thanks to a poorly timed game stutter, @Puffpirat gets by. Cruise to the end.

I think its very clear from looking at the replay at 1.05.27 that @Exited drives into the back of me and takes me off, and its clearly NOT poor driving from my side..

Great kick-off event(s) for Ostblock and stellar performance by @miagi who could achieve P2 to maximize the team result in the first race. I may was overly cautious in R2 when it came to fighting @Echo and @Vernux who both gave me a fierce but always fair battle and could fend me off for quite a while. Even by pushing out one qualification lap after another I couldn't close the gap to the top three. I didn't expect @miagi to lift on the final straight, but you know... there are guys who'd approve this message...

Today I've found the time to review replays from Okayama. I got one clip from race one and one clip from race two that i'd like to show you.

First race I'd like to say sorry to all that this incident affected. I made it three wide after the start and didn't realize the middle man had so little space. We bumped and domino effect followed.

Second race I'd like to brag about this awesome double avoid that i made.
