Do you understand and accept our Driving Standards? Yes
Do you intend to attend and complete the race? Yes

You're an absolute hero if you can drive this thing with TC off!

Better make a screenshot while it lasts. :)
Still a couple of tenths to be found.

Sorry guys, I have to bail out. I am absolutely not clicking with the car...sounds great, looks great, but man, 5mm too much throttle input and I just die. And before I play bumper cars, I'll rather not race and ruin your fun.

Are you driving without TC?

Have people found that big changes to the setup are helpful or not?

I tried going very soft on the rear and keeping the front about the same or slightly stiffer than standard, it does help the car put the traction down but it’s hard to find a balance with excessive understeer. On the stock suspension the car is more agile in the low speed corners but less stable through the first section.

Laptimes were about the same with both strategies of setup but driving style completely different.

Are you driving without TC?

Have you been practicing with TC? Don’t think we’re allowed it tonight looking at the event details!

Yes, mostly. Tried some laps with it off, but was only managing 1:35-36s.

You have to be really really conservative with throttle. Never go full throttle unless the car is completely stable.

Try to make the suspension and the dumpers stiffer.
But don't set the springs too stiff, because it increases ride height, which you can't compensate.
Also lower ride height as much as you can.

Interesting, that’s the complete opposite of the approach I was thinking of setup wise!

Guys, I'm knackered from working late yesterday after our race and today also long day at work again. I just fell asleep a couple of times on the couch watching Extraction on Netflix. I have to pull out of this race as I'm just to tired and need to go to bed early I guess. Double sorry for not showing up the second Wednesday in a row all :sorry:. Hope to race with you soon all!

These old cars had very soft suspensions. Aris said this in a Youtube video.
Soft is safer, but you can't react fast enough to the car's movements. You can make fast corrections with stiffer suspension.
