Will guest drivers still be allowed should the lobby not be full? Very hard to commit for a full season of races finishing close to 00:00 local time, but there might be the odd occasion (like the 16th of December, where we have a public holiday the next day) where, if there is space available, I'd love to join.

I would try to avoid Ginetta this time, but since I still don't like doing car setups, i don't know what is best car with default one (except Ginetta).

from my experience the Aston is quite nice on both default sets, although it's a bit down on top speed compared to the Cayman

The famous "infinite front grip" aston ;) I might give it a shot, never actually drived that car. I think that also depending on the type of transmission (manual or sequential), there is a big performance gap

I have 4 questions....

1) Will it be a rolling start beginning lap 1, or a formation lap into a rolling start?
2) Will the in-game date be the "current date of race", or do you have something else planned?
3) Race in-game start time, for the first race at least?
4) Will there also be individual standings, or team standings only?

Thanks, and sorry for all the questions.

1) As always, formation lap into a rolling start.
2) You will see that once the race thread for race 1 is up
3) See 2)
4) Both

Ginetta, Porsche and even the Aston are surprisingly well matched. Did TTs on all tracks and they all have their highs and lows.

The Toyota is struggling with heat in front brakes. Although I was running brake bias on 50/50, I reached well over 700°C after a couple of laps. The car has no front brake ducts... Do the other GT4s also have this?

I know it's not much of a comparison, but I did similar times* in the Porch, BMW & Toyota, with the ginetta being a little ahead and the Aston a little behind - the Mustang was in the wall and the KTM was absolutely nowhere...

*similar to each other, not similar to yours!

Yeah the Ginetta feels the most like a real race car, is light, has lots of aero. The Porsche can be quite difficult on the default setups.

Interesting you were so close with BMW and Toyota, but I can’t be arsed to do a season with stick shift :joyful:
