Can anyone recommend a free or quite cheap video editing software that you've used and enjoyed.

I've just tried Lightworks, but can only export at 720p.

Any advice would be lovely.

Thanks.

Depends on what you're trying to do, but if it's just simple compiling clips, cutting adding titles and things like rotating video then I've found the free Windows movie maker is fine and can save 1080.

This was perfect on my last PC running windows 7. I don't seem to like the one you can get for windows 10.

I'm currently trying Shotcut. Looks ok so far.

Yeah I used to just use movie maker and it was fantastic for a long time but then they discontinued it so you can no longer get it on new PCs. I reset my PC and realised it was gone forever.
