The Merc feels solid on the Donington set that Alex added and the BMW used to be my favourite (least hated ) GT3 on the old tyre model zero slip angle days.

Never thought there would be so many ***** in the top split

Started p39 after going off track on my second quali lap. Had a great start to avoid the 20 car pileup in T1 (yep in the top split) and managed to get up to p25 by end of the first lap. The two incidents spelled the end of us being competitive in the race are below. After that we didn’t want to give up so trundled around with a very broken car in p35 before coming home in p33.

Granted their early braking caught me out a little as I wanted to overtake the first car into that corner but the guy behind wtf!



The guy gave me room and then suddenly he wanted that room back and then boom we dead.

We were unlucky with getting torpedoed in the opening laps. Good to keep it going to the end though and certainly keen to go endurance racing again!

Is there any love for the Mclaren? It’s the closest I’ve got to being happy testing for VRS this week.

Will try a sprint race this evening and see how that goes. If it’s not a disaster then I’d be interested in Sat PM or Sunday, will need the practice time Saturday morning!

If you feel comfortable with it i would highly suggest driving the Audi as it is the best car this week

Interesting, I got all the GT3s apart from the Audi and was slow in the Merc and uncomfortable and slow in the Z4 and Ferrari. But the Mclaren felt fine, was building pace up, had an idea where I could go faster and didn't feel like it was going to kill me.

Does the Audi feel much different to the others?

It's strange because the GTE Ferrari feels really good but the GT3 I can barely turn a lap.

The Audi normally is a bit more aggressive from my experience, better on turn in but a bit more unstable on the rear at times
and at the moment there is some sort of setup exploit which makes it really quick, so it is the car of choice for a lot of people
