Good evening all, I'm Erwin from Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and got here buying V3 pedals from your community member Corné. Trying his rig, and competing in the 24h of Daytona, really set me loose. So upgraded to the DD2 and HE Sprint.
As I had a lot of fun competing at Daytona, I found those team members are a little to conservative for my taste. I really don't want to crash, and race really hard with 22 hours to go, but it's still a race and you can defend your track position by taking a defensive racing line.. right?

Looking forward to meeting you guys. I'm not very active when it comes to forums and community races, but very committed for road special events on iRacing. Which is actually the only thing I race atm.

Im from South africa and have some sim racing on console experience , however moving over to PC as my console giving issues , So im getting my pc today and steering wheel G920 at the end of the month im looking forward to start racing with Revolution racing

Hey all just wanted to say hi. I've been a gran turismo player for years, finally picked up a copy of Project Cars 2 on sale and I'm sold!!! Anyway very new to this game love the realism and hopefully clean online racing not like GT where they use other people's cars as brakes to slow for turns!

Ho due postazioni di guida un HYPERSTIMULATOR in garage e una Playseat con Fanatec CSR ELITE nel mio studio. Visto il periodo di reclusione dovuto al COVID-19 ho pensato di ristrutturare le periferiche di gioco. Sto cercando di fare una modifica all'attacco delle Rim Formula tipo QR perche 'ho visto in rete che qualcuno lo ha fatto e mi piacerebbe moddare in quel modo per poter utilizzare ruote differenti con attacco rapido. Ora provo a cercare qui nel forum notizie, ma se qualcuno leggesse questa presentazione e avesse indicazioni da darmi su dove cercare gliene sarei grato. Buona domenica a tutti.

Hi everyone!

I'm Ben, 35, from the Netherlands.
In the (g)olden days i've simraced a lot! All the famous games, gp2/3/4, gpl, toca 2, GTR 2 and many more.
Than for a number of years life, work, own business and health problems got in the way of racing. Now for the last couple of years unfortunately I'm home due to my health.
And with covid last year the things I still could do where either prohibited or closed. And because of the simracing hype at that moment the racing bug bit me again.
I purchased my first wheel in a long time (fanatec csl elite). As soon as it arrived and I installed it on the pc desk I realized that that wouldn't work. So a couple of weeks later the alu rig was a fact
Together with @Erwin we started racing the VRS endurance series in iracing with some nice results.
And earlier this year the Daytona 24h but like Erwin said in his post, the real racing "spirit" was a bit lost in that team and it was too much lets have fun.
Now fun is extremly important! But the competition factor is aswell! Race for your position and don't open the door everytime someone gets too close!
I've already heard from Erwin that this is a very nice, fun and competitive group of racers and I hope to be part of this aswell!

I am retired with plenty of time on my hands. Lately I have been investigating sim racing to see if it would be a good fit for me.

Although I have no sim racing experience I do enjoy racing radio controlled cars on a nice dirt track.
