Ladies and Gents,

I've just switched over from PS4 to PC to leverage the more robust communities for better racing opportunities. I'm a Yank so there is a big timezone conflict for me, but I hope to participate in your weekend events to broaden my experience level, when able. I look forward to racing with you all, and should be on for the induction on 23 SEP.

Cheers-Paul

Greetings all,

My real name is Dave, I'm 33 and live in Connecticut, USA. I've been a PC sim racer for around 15 years and have owned almost every title released during that time period. LFS, rFactor and iRacing were my major sims. I'm enjoying pCars2 quite a bit and am looking forward to racing with a clean, professional group of people!

Hello everyone,

I'm David and I'm from the Netherlands. I play Project Cars, F1 2010 till F1 2016. I'm planning to get F1 2017 and Project Cars 2 aswell, but I'm broke atm so that will have to wait unfortunately. I joined here because I wanted to race against good racers and not the non serious guys online. Uhm yeah, that's pretty much it. If you'd like to know anything more about me (not that anyone's interested or something), you can always ask me.

See you guys out on track!

Hello Guys,

My name is Michael, I am from Poland.
I am here because I'd like to do a clean and competitive sim racing in Project CARS 2.
I have been racing in The Gentlemen's Club league on Project CARS back in 2015 and it was great.

Looking forward to meet you all and see you on the track.

Welcome to all those new to RSR.

For those looking to get started, we recommend you check out the 'Learn more' tab at the top and read through the induction, driving standards and starting procedure threads. In addition to this, before you can get involved with any ranked events, you will need to complete an induction which are held on Tuesdays at 18:30 UTC. During the inductions you'll be racing alongside several members, both new and existing, whilst induction moderators and admins monitor your driving behaviours.

Pace is not important, we only care that you follow the rules and avoid contact. All starting procedures, rules and such will be explained during inductions, but it's recommended you read up on the topics before hand. It's also worth mentioning that any offical events such as Inductions, ranked events or series will be marked on the calendar, which you will see a link for at the top of the forums.

Once you've done the induction and been promoted, you're welcome to participate in ranked events. That's about it, get involved in the forums, feel free to ask if you need any assistance and of course, welcome to RSR. Will be looking forward to seeing you all on the track soon. :)

Hi everyone I am Noisen, I love PC2 and hope to see you on track soon!
Welcome to RSR. We are a friendly bunch who all have a common interest...racing clean and fair, we are mainly a Project cars 2 based community but we take part in a wide variety of events such as Iracing/Rfactor endurance and many other non-racing games. If you wish to take part in our upcoming events then join us tomorrow night for Induction session starting at 18:30 UTC, All you need to do is join us on Team speak(details in registration email) before induction starts and we will go through the rest.

I would recommend reading through our rules to make induction even more enjoyable.

I hope you enjoy induction and enjoy your time with RSR, Finally if you get stuck with anything just shout and someone will assist you :D

Hi there all,

I'm Simon, call me Si, 33 from London England. Have been playing racing sims for years all the way back to the original Geoff Crammond Grand Prix and the Papyrus Indycar and Nascar games. I have predominately been an offline kind of player who has from time to time had the odd online race across different games I have played. I did take a look at iRacing a while back with a view to making a more concerted effort online than I had before but I will be honest I just didn't get on with the game or their pricing model so I went back to pCars1.

With the release of pCars2 I knew I wanted to try online more than I had in the past but had no set plans on how to go about this as I thought I might leave it till later in the games life cycle once I had played a fair bit of single player. The game itself has sped up my move to look online more due to some of the AI inconsistencies of how they can go through one minute going round corners impossibly fast to then barely making it round an easy corner at more than what feels like 10mph which to me is a great shame as I in all other aspects I feel pCars2 is a massive step up from pCars1.

I am by no means particularly fast and I will often check my own pace a bit as I try to limit any mistakes in search for a more consistent pace even if it means I am giving up ultimate pace. I was lucky enough to find a link to you guys on the pCars forum and when I was reading up on your site the following two quotes stuck for me:
  • Sim Racing should be as competitive as possible for all
  • Anyone who can compete cleanly and fairly is welcome, regardless of pace
I am competitive (aren't we all) and want to improve but I know I will lack pace against a lot of people from the online race experience I have previously, so with your goal of being clean and fair which I hope I can prove I can abide by I am hoping this is the place i can take my pace and improve myself as a sim racer is not only speed bu craft aswell.

PS. One side note is I have 2 young children so even though listening to Team Speak is totally fine as I game with a headset I will need to keep speaking to a minimum so I don't disturb them. From reading through your expected standards I don't believe this will cause an issue as you want communication kept to a minimum anyway.

Welcome! I wouldn't worry about the pace here, we have many members with different levels of skill, some of them are aliens, most are human & there's a few peasants like myself that play with a controller that enjoy the challenge. We all strive for the same goal, being faster. To that end we're all quite helpful sharing setup's & giving tips, you only need ask.
See you online for a race!

Hello everyone

I am DevilDriver or Martin in real life. I was born in 84 in Austria.
Due my job I traveled the world for some years and ended up in Zürich/Switzerland in 2010.

Playing Video Games is part of my life since the late 80's. Same goes for my love for cars.
This is not my first organized and structured community. I've been with a Console based Forza Garage for some years and had my own Battlefield/CoD Clan.
What I remember, TOCA on the PS1was my first racing title I got addicted to. Since then I played about any racing Game.
However, all this years I was racing on consoles and with a controller. Thinking that is good and satisfying enough.
Oh boy was I wrong.. lol
Got myself a Thrustmaster TX this Spring and played on my XB1 with it. A whole new World opened up.
So imagine my Face and feelings wgen 2 Weeks ago my new Rig arrived together with an Oculus Rift.

And now here I am, thanks to your Member Shepard who found me in the PCars Forums.

I am looking forward to race with and talk to you people here.

Look forward to racing with you! :D

That is nice to hear. Guess we meet next Tuesday.

@jamesl91

Already went through everything you sent me. Really liked what I saw. Really nice setup here.

Hope I am not getting to nervous on Tuesday though. Don't want to kick someone off cause of sweaty hands. :D
But seriously, glad to found the door to RSR.
