Did a test run...oh dear, potential for chaos....very high with this combo. This could make the Ginetta Challenge race starts look like a cwtching convention, narrow tight track, very loose car which you need to almost park on the apex to get around the hairpins. I have a very bad feeling about this.

I'll wait and see what today is actually like but if we hit the temps we're predicted to get, I'm not racing tonight. It's expected to be 34 or 35C today (and a couple of degrees hotter tomorrow ) and humid. Racing with a Rift in those conditions isn't fun at all - it's bad enough just being sat there with the PC running. I'm hoping the forecasts are wrong.

EDIT : I'm out. The weather is currently bang on the forecast. Rift + Bronco + this heat and humidity = Cluck out. Have a fun race everybody

That was a ton of fun!

First race went a bit shoddily, bonked someone's butt near the start and got mondo radiator damage, realized at one point I had 85% engine wear and 145C oil temp. Limped to pits, sitting there for 3 minutes on a 15 minute race. Yeaaahhh... Got second to last I think, only because the last one wasn't driving anymore.

After that I picked myself up and started doing solid laps, got two 2nd place finishes in the following races. Nada was just way too fast all the time, I could keep up but no hope of passing.

Lots of fun hammering the beast around this twisty track, hopefully everyone else enjoyed themselves too. =)
