Hey guys

I am looking for a proper replacement of my actual rig:
FOR SALE: RSEAT RS Formula V1 Red ***@500 €*** (bought for ~ 1150 €)
Best is pick-up. Delivery options require further investigation.

I am currently planning to invest in a aluminum sim rig. According to various sources, this offers the highest stability with simultaneous flexibility for individual adjustments.

Any reccomendations?

I've changed the title because I assumed you weren't looking for advice on BDSM racks ;)

(the original title was 'sin rig' :D)

OK, before this goes any further (and despite the fact that I am literally in tears of laughter over a simple spelling mistake) I would politely request that the thread is now kept on topic. By all means chuckle to yourself but let's give CrisBCros the help he's after :)

Aaaaahhhhh memories of a Sin rig.....:cigar: ooo eerrrr :wideyed: sorry

Been looking at these Alu frames for a while but ultimately designed my own as I have some custom controllers to attach.

Some good ones but you do need a monitor stand with them as well:

https://sim-lab.eu/product-category/cockpit/

These come with the frame and the custom brackets. Some even have built in monitor stands:

A newish one I have yet to look at in depth but has some interesting ideas, caters more for my HOTAS layout though I think:

https://www.monstertech.de/en/product-category/sim-rigs/

Mostly look at what you want from the frame,
  • What you will mount (wheel/pedals or HOTAS/wheels/pedals - seperate monitor stand or built in)
  • what you will use it for (racing and flying or just racing)
  • Type of seat (GT or formula)
  • Future additions (bass shakers/motion rig/VR)
I for example will only go for a seperate monitor stand if I intend to stay with monitors. If I go VR I will get the built in mount to save space.

I have DIY'd my entire rig (even my wheel ;)) so my Alu frame will be a custom job to accomedate my requirements.

Appreciate all your inputs - great stuff fellas. Just ordered a p1 rig from sim lab as I actually own a formula rig and don’t like the position anymore.
Might arrive already next week...whooop whooop
