Has the current issues with the ACC rolling starts been discussed? I am considering both the current problems with rubberband effect causing collisions when the cars start to roll and also the big issue with speed limiter preventing catch up to the cars in front. Perhaps some additional guidelines and rules should be implemented for ACC races.

I think the first post of this thread is covering all.

I hope you already read our Driving Standards (you accepted them in the sign up :p), but here are the bits about the manual rolling start: https://revolutionsimracing.com/pages/driving-standards/#rollingstart
Yes I have read it and will read them again before the first race. I was concerned with the poor design choices by Kunos in rolling start, but obviously the extra lap will fix some of it. But the rubberbanding during startups is still a concern
The cars are IMO placed too close to each other, and often there's lag when everyone starts, which again increases the risk of bumps.

What will be the rules for pit stops in the first three rounds and for the 24 h race:

- Will there be mandatory pit stop?
- Will we have a pit window like in Blancpain Sprint?
- Is automated pit speed limiter allowed?

You reckon most cars should be okay with agressive setups or do you really need to put in a lot of work to make the cars quick around here?

Setups are good as far I experienced. So you select aggressive setup and fuel load (fuel load in litres = minutes x2 and you should be good) and that's it.

Did anybody already practiced a little bit?
What are you laptimes in race conditions? I'm lapping at around 1.48,5 to 1.49 at a fast track, 65l of fuel and slightly tweaked aggressive preset setup with the Lexus. The Audi is exactly as fast, the Beamer was a little bit slower then those two :)

I am really struggling at Monza. Have done some test session the last couple of evenings, trying to tweak the setup and finding those missing seconds (1:51.6 was my fastest) and I can't manage to put in even 5 laps without going off-track or spinnig at some point. Sometimes the brakes fail me on approach to T1 although they are not overheating, sometimes the first Lesmo spits me into the right side barrier, or the entry to Ascari turns me around. I really don't feel comfy for the race at the moment...:dead:

Which car are you in? If you are having problems over kerbs and bumps you could use the Safe Preset Setup as it normally has more ride height and is more stable (more understeer, more downforce etc.)

I am driving the McLaren. I always choose the safe setup to begin with, the aggressive is just to nervous for my liking. I tried to tweak brake bias, ARBs, springs and toe to get a better balance and steer-in, and the car feels OK now, it's just that I cannot get into the comfort zone where I totally trust the car. Going down to T1 e.g. always feels like lottery, although I am pretty sure I hit my braking point.
