im able to reach around 250-260kph no slipstream

My time was set before the 5th but I can go out on the track to give it a try.

Oh crud, in the starting grid my screen froze with the game running in the background, I heard sound and felt the weel, but had a standing image. Had to shut the game down via task manager. So I didn't even get to drive the formation lap. You can't imagine how that bugs me...grrrrr

My computer decided today that I should not participate in the race

That's OK, I only made it as far as the first corner. Cold hard tyres weren't a good recipe. Spun 270° straight into the wall, 20 front damage and 30 suspension damage. Wheel sat at 40° and given that I was facing the wall, I had to reverse back, which with the GT3 group about to come through I decided I'd best wait. By the time they went through and I realised how bad the car was, what little enthusiasm I did have had evaporated. Hope the race goes well for those still in it

On the 2nd Lap my rift blacked out, couldn’t see a thing, had no control stuck on racing line before last corner, Esc had no effect hit by GT3, apologies to whoever it was, crawled back to pits not having the right view of things on screen, repaired but still incorrect view. Eventually Ctrl-alt-del to exit game. Such a shame, as I was really looking forward to this race.

Well, this was a good race for me. Starting from P4 (in GT3 Class) and made it to P2 in a few laps. But P1 had a very good pace and left me 10s behind. P3 was also always near. But then my strategy (kind of) paid of. I started on softs with a full tank and drove them till the tank was empty. I even changed my fuel mix to normal to save fuel. I had the idea to change to wets if rain starts early. But when only about 1 hour was left my tank was empty and there was no sign of rain. So i took softs again and enough fuel to end the race, perhaps the rain would come only in the last few minutes. (we knew from hockenheim if rain starts it is possible to drive with softs much longer than expected).
But then the rain never came (perhaps weather progression was set to 1x and not sync to race?). And so i could drive until the end on the softs. Only one stop. Finished P1 - my first victory in RSR!
By the way very nice fighting with the drivers around me (sorry forgot the names), and very clean race from everyone I met.
