EDIT: Hang on a minute, scrub that - it looks like I've been promoted to the main roster now (was on a separate post) so I had better pull my finger out and turn up on time. Looking for a fingers crossed emoticon . . . . .

Good lil practice session tonight. First laps put in & a decent setup made. Happy cruising around a low 55...

Good to know! I was on a 55.5 yesterday after a few laps. Close to default setup, only pressures and radiator

I've only done 15 laps of practice but I'm bang on what @FuBii posted. All lap times on race fuel were between 55.0-55.5 and did under 55s in low fuel on my first attempt for a qualifying run. Hopefully some room for improvement before the race this evening.

No words. I'm not feeling well this evening but had practised and was super keen to join in the slipstream battle. But pcars. Behaving weird by not loading in VR 3 times and then being unable to find the server.

Qualifying - fantastic! p5. amazing!
Race 1 - victim of my own eagerness. racing pretty close to @Battenberg but got too close going into T1 & took avoiding action which put me on the grass & waiting for the field to come through. Didn't want to do a Haas & take out my team mate...
Later in race one I was catching up pretty quick through the mid field & made my move obvious on the outside when someone swerved under braking right in front of me. Again avoiding action but to the inside, locked up & sadly took out @Explousion. Slow trundle through the chicane to allow him past & continue racing. but everyone was leaving me standing on the straights even when i was slip streaming.....
Race 2 - doing pretty good but again people leaving me standing on the straight, WTF.
then got spun around in that chicane by someone which gave me front damage... went through most of the race following @Anto before pitting as I was over 1s slower than i should have been. out of the pits for 2 laps & still getting left on the straights... okay WTAF.
2 laps from the end... it cant be. yup. FUEL MAP:LEAN.
I HAD DONE ALL BUT 4 LAPS RUNNING LEAN.

Very intense two races for me, with a lot of fierce battling around, too bad I crashed onto the wall by my mistake and could not keep the fight to the end n race 2.
But the most fun moment was with @Puffpirat after the race when we were sent to private chat to discuss our race issues, it was heavily all swords out between us for a couple minutes and suddenly after that it was like we were two good friends from long ago discussing about the past. I think we should also apologize for starting it while still in public chat though, sorry about that from everybody.

im not the best driver but i really enjoy doing it and this race was just amazing the only bad part was i hit the wall in the the first corner a few times and my car start having problems until i spin on the last corner at lap 20 of the second race and made me retire from the race but anyway was really fun guys nice race

Qualifying - was sitting down in 6th-8th for the most part but unsure if this was because the people ahead of me had a good tow luckily @Puffpirat was on hand to give me a monster tow all lap and get me into 3rd place for the 1st race
Race 1 - Great battling throughout with @steveg200, @Puffpirat and @cpcdem (and probably a few others - edit: @Battenberg) tried not to overtake @steveg200 in the closing stages waiting until the last lap but I messed up my opportunity out braking myself in T1 and then not having enough of the lap left to regain the lost time and make another attempt. Well deserved win for @steveg200
Race 2 - Another great battle from start to finish but I can only apologise to @Puffpirat for nearly ending us both when I locked up hard into T1. I didn't have any damage although managed to stall the car so went down to 6th/7th and joined back behind @t0daY. Me and @t0daY worked together in the slipstream not fighting each other with the aim to catch up to the battle for 2nd and within 5-10mins we did this. Due to carnage that unfolded ahead we both went into 2nd and 3rd place and our battle now started. @t0daY held on to 2nd place and @steveg200 took another well deserved win.
Great track choice for these cars and action on every lap! Looking forward to the final next week.
