Anyone tried both the rift and Odyssey Plus? Seems like there is potentially a major difference between the two

The guy I bought my 1080 from had one (and a motion rig), and let me have a go. I don't know if I was wearing it wrong (apparently not said the guy), but the fit on the face was awful. It was like it was just hanging in front of my face, rather than the intimate fit of the rift. It was hard to get immersed with 0 insulation from outside light. It also flopped around as the motion rig swayed around. I didn't wear my glasses as I didn't want to scratch the lenses so it was blurry, but I could see the displays were bigger & had a bigger FOV. So that's something. The virtual desktop/game interaction was a real faff too.
