My new flavour of the month is Group A. I love this cars and i've never seen a race on this cars in RSR .

Close battles - Check
RWD or 4WD - Check
Manual Gears Awesomeness - Check
Good Variaty of cars - Check
Nostalgia Factor - Check
Balanced Series - Not Check: Ford and Nissan could use a BOP nerf on that Turbo. They are way faster on the straights than the other cars.

We have run Group A a few times in the past - most notably my favourite race of all time, at Oulton Park, the race that spawned the Cluck's-Random-Slide-o-Matic-Technique™

Ah ok...well i've only been around in RSR on Pcars 2, maybe we did but i can't remember

Anyway, the suggestion remains, i just love this series

Oh and yes, of course in classic tracks for this kind of cars, such as Oulton Park or Orchen£%"!"&£&£.

Once Season 5 is finished I would like to see another off-season championship similar to the Ginetta's we ran last time. Default setups to minimise practice/setup time.

how about 2 short "support class" races followed by a main event? Default setup for the 2 supports and maybe open setup for the main race?

15min KTM X-Bow - 15min Caterham 620 with maybe a 30min Touring car(or something else other than GTx) race as the main race

As great an idea as it might sound, the biggest problem with doing that is that you have to ask people to practice in multiple cars for each event. There are quite a few people who barely have the time to practice even one car.

my post wasn't meant to be a response to Catchaglimpse mini championship idea. I was merely suggesting for a 1 off evening event. maybe even use the random spinner to select a track on the night so nobody has any practice?

Potential Caterham + X-Bow (believe they are fairly closely matched? But who would take the X, when the Caterham is so much fun? Boring ppl maybe!!!)

Not sure how close they are from Default setups (Can never have too much default setup races!) But that sounds like an awesome combo to me!

I’d be interested in a one off event or a community mini league similar to the Ginettas. Maybe this could be an idea for the series when Season 5 finishes?

We have already used the Caterham prototype in season 2 so unlikely it will make another appearance in the official league any time soon, but certainly can be looked at for some events.

I think its the 600 road car not the prototype we were using in those events, matched quite well against the xbow

We mean this one. No DF, defaultish setup was still fun (not that I am advocating a default setup race) and if you are bored you can just watch the suspension bounce up and down while you drive

I'd fully back a "Tour of the UK" mini-league with the 620R, taking in all the UK circuits in the game . Bannochbrae, Brands Hatch Indy, Cadwell Park GP, Donington Park National, Knockhill International, Lydden Hill, Oulton Park Island and Silverstone Stowe.

I can't think of any of those circuits that wouldn't be an absolute riot of fun in this car

Think Knockhill only has about 16 pit boxes (just something to be aware of if forming a league / event).
This is because instead of building more garages, we are too busy chasing Haggis!

yeah, a few of those circuits are very limited. I'm not even sure that Lydden Hill has pit boxes, so that might be a no-go.
