Hello everyone!

My name is Sam and I live in Washington state, of the U.S.A. I'm 41 years old and have been playing racing games and simulators on and off ever since I was young and we had a Pole Position arcade (with the wheel, gas pedal, and shifter!) in the cafeteria of my middle school.

Admittedly, it's been a few years since I played a true racing sim. I've been spending most of my gaming time in various combat flight simulators; most recently War Thunder. But the racing bug has bitten me hard again and I've jumped headfirst into Project Cars 2. I've kept things simple and budget-friendly with a Thrustmaster TMX wheel and pedal set, but it definitely suits my needs (for now).

I'm really enjoying the online aspect of Project Cars 2, but am developing a bad taste for the poor drivers that are sometimes found in the open lobbies. (Starting to feel mental trauma about Turn 1 at Monza.)
I've realized that joining a racing league is my best bet for finding clean, respectful, and friendly drivers that will help boost my enjoyment of this fine racing sim. After spending a few days researching some of the various racing leagues that are advertised on the official Project Cars 2 forums, I've come to believe that RSR is the league for me! Plus, I'm a big Yorkie065 fan and it helps that he lurks around here from time to time.

I'm definitely not fast yet; the only time I podium is when enough drivers in front of me crash or spin out. I am proud of my 'A' safety rating, though, and hope to achieve an 'S' rating someday.

Anyway, I'm excited to be taking the first steps of joining this fantastic racing league and hope to attend the induction night on February 20th! See you guys on the track.

Hiya everyone, I`m Rob and I live in Manchester, UK - the home of United! Yes I`m a football fan and generally enjoy most sports. Funnily enough, considering I`m here, I`m not really a motorsport fan apart from Speedway. Me and my son go to watch the Belle Vue Aces on a regular basis.

I have only recently purchased PC2 after putting several years of iRacing under my belt. I was persuaded by a friend of mine to try it and here I am, suitably impressed. The weather conditions are fantastic. I do take my gaming relatively seriously - I`m not the fastest around but I like to think I respect the other people on track - just hope they respect me!

Anyway I look forward to meeting some of you, starting with the induction this coming Tuesday.

Cheers

Rob

Hey,

My name is Benimi, but people like to play with my name a lot. From Hungary.
I was a long time Sim Racer until I didn't have access to my wheel for a few years. Now, I'm trying to find my way back, slowly.
RSR was recommended me by a few members from my other Community, NoDo.

Also, I'm really bad with introductions, so yeah, that's all.

Well hello everyone...
Name is Justice, 32 yo, and I am interested in finding a home for my sim racing hobby. Online races are fun, but I have been very eager in finding a structured format to call home. Im not fast, but I have been addicted to sim racing since the first Gran Turismo in the late 90s. Currently playing PCars 2 and IRacing, and I stream over on twitch @ twitch.tv/justice238 . Also my steam link is steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197991740775 so you can get an idea of what games I enjoy.

I am currently still running my Logitech Driving Force GT that I picked up many moons ago. However, I plan to be upgrading that in the near future. Just built a new PC which took my wheel money, lol. - imgur.com/gallery/rTNhY

So.... yeah, thats about it. Looking forward to seeing what Revolution has to offer and looking forward to getting some races in!

Hey guys, my real name is Peter or "Pete" or even my IGN "OutRage87" - I am 30 years old, a web developer and BTCC enthusiast, so much so I went to Donnington BTCC as BMW (Turkington) VIP last year which was amazing, though expensive!... I have been playing PC2 for about a week now, having played many other racing games such as Forza, I thought I would be much suited to a sim, to suit my love of racing...needless to say I purchased a G27 kit the other day and it is amazing, much easier to drive. I currently drive a White Mercedes E220 ('13) though it is fairly dirty because of winter :) - anyway can't wait to see you all on track!

I'm on the same boat as iceman, ovivo, kaleeb and Benimi. We all know each other from the NODO gta5 racing crew, and lately we're all starting to move on to something else. I joined AOR recently and I had a blast playing with those guys so far. Then I heard some people mention this crew too, so I figured I'd check it out as well.

Racing in gta5 is so weird man. The physics don't make sense and there are so many retarted ways to make your car go faster. Buying a wheel (T150) and playing pcars2 has been a massive upgrade to me for sure.

I hope to have good races here with you guys :)

Hi all,

Just popping in to say hello as i am new around here but not new to racing games or to competitive race championships.

I played many of the Forza titles in the past and had a quick flirt with PC1 but seriously got into PC2 and am loving it. well, with the exception of public lobbies which, until last night, had been home to some of the worst racing i had ever seen. Maybe i got lucky last night but joining up here primarily to find some clean competitive racers to challenge myself against.

Coincidentally, 5Aces, i am pretty sure we raced together last night in public lobbies.

Need to have a good look around the forums to see when people are racing so i can join in.

Hope to see you on the track!

Hi @Nismo and @img_87, nice to have you along. The next official event you can take part in is Induction (Tuesday @ 19:30 UTC), which is handy as you'll need to get promoted to probation in order to take part in our other events. Details are in my signature :)

Is there any chance we can know what tracks are going to be used on Tuesday so we can do some practice beforehand?

Hi @Mancspartan, we can't guarantee which cars or tracks will be used on the night by our induction staff as we tend to mix up it a fair bit. However, don't be too concerned about how fast you are - inductions are much more about monitoring new drivers' car control, safety and ability to cleanly race closesly with others - pace is the least of our concerns. That being said, we usually stick to slower, controllable cars such as the Ginetta G40 Junior, Clio Cup, Forumla Rookie, etc for these nights sometimes with a quicker more challenging car at the end of the night for a bit of fun.

Thanks for you reply. Whilst I understand what you say surely it is easier for us inductees to show "car control, safety and ability to cleanly race closesly with others", if we know the track we are driving on, and are not having to do it "blind"?
