Um let's see Endurance (Neo, GES), VLN, BSS/BES, IMSA, Porsche Cup. Pretty much sums it up. Lots of work to do. :stig:

I believe that in order to join NEO Endurance league you'll need to get into GES. Do well there before you can get into NEO.
So it'll probably be 2018 before we get into Endurance Leagues as a team.

I actually started to have some fun at mid-ohio on Saturday and Sunday, and I think I've found the pattern.

I only drive well when i'm ranked near the bottom of a race. Stick me in a race with a SOF less than 2k and I drive slowly, have a scrappy race and and general a bad finish/and or a wreck.

Put me in a 2.4-2.7k SOF race and I drive my little heart out, stick PB's in for fun, drive lap after lap in 3-4 car trains keeping around 0.2-0.5 gap between each car and finish midpack with only minor incidents :)

Go figure :)

Sounds like when your in the lower SOF races that your worried about getting killed and then you end up getting killed because no one knows how to drive.
Well done @Gxbbs, welcome to the madhouse that is GT3
I have already been here once and I lost my B license because people kept hitting me and I would the rage quit, so the aim is to get the iRating up and have some better races. I'm currently sitting at 1552 so its going to take a while.

Since you'll be doing IMSA and BSS anyways for the next week(s). Avoid first lap issues in the 1100-1800 iR races and you'll finish top5 easily. Both series run decent tracks and with some practice you should be able to get that iR up fairly quickly.

For the lower splits I would try to qualify as best as you can in the front of the field. Then just leave them in the race and create a big gap.

Finally an update on the Ferrari announcement months ago. From the looks of its the GT2/GTE car. Meaning it will most likely be added to ProtoGT when it is released. Soon.
Unless there will be a modern multiclass series "wec" if the Porsche 919 is going to be added. (Suggested by the Porsche announcement video).

GT2 doesn't exist anymore btw. It's now just GTE :)

iRacing still has to the Ford in ProtoGT listed as GT2. But it's just the name since GT2 = GTE
So there is a chance that the Ford is going to be retired when the Ferrari hits iRacing since the game cannot handle 5+ car classes. Although there was chatter about increasing the car classes.

Hopefully a GTE Porsche too

Let's hope so. Would be quite interesting to have a proper GTE class. Porsche and Ferrari are extremely good choices.

@Dutchtastic The game can handle 6 car classes. It's been done before during Week 13. The issue comes from people who have weak/old systems that can't run it because they take a big fps hit/run out of memory. Remember you have to load all the cars when you get into the session. Now that iRacing went dx11 and 64bit they should be able to increase it. We will just have to wait and see when they do it.
