Why dont they start it at 05:45 as the RL race?

Anyway, yesterday I searched for brightness settings in iRacing but didn't find any. It's not that I cant drive in the very dark, but it is more dangerous and laptimes do get a bit slower. On certain parts of the track I cannot spot the apex before turning in at all.

So I played a bit with the brightness setting of my graphics card driver and I think turning up brightness a bit (plus maybe contrast as well) helps already a lot with the visibility of the track. Will test it out today again.

I may have just cursed us, we're now in the pits after a tiny mistake has led to an hour's worth of repairs We'll see what the car is like but hopes are not high.
