We will do some hosted practice sessions before the big one for sure. The first one is probably going to be on Sunday December 8th, more on that later.

iracing membership is 50% off at the moment....tempted to pull the trigger...How much is the track and an appropriate car?

Each car is $12 (only need to buy the one you're racing), and each track is $15 IIRC. You also have to get your licence up to a minimum of D4.0, so that might mean racing out of the rookie series, which might require additional tracks/cars depending on the schedule.

It's always 50% off for new members. Problem is, that you only get this discount once. So you can't safe much money if you get it for 3 month. For members the discount is 25% at black friday.

If you mean Daytona 2007, that is the old track. You will need to buy the new Daytona Track :/
