Starting Procedure: Rolling Start, the pole driver will lead the field through the formation lap. The speed limit for the lead car will be 50mph / 80kph. We are going to form up in a 2×2 formation at the beginning of sector 3, maintaining our speed. Odd numbers on the right side and even numbers on the left side.

There is three badges; Applicant (red), Probationer (yellow) and Member (green). By default, as a new member to the site you will be set as an applicant, shown on the left under your name of all your forum posts. Applicants can not participate in ranked events and must attend at least one induction session, (normally held on Tuesdays at 18:30 UTC). During these inductions you will be taken through the racing procedures, rules and have your driving accessed by induction leaders, moderators and/or admins. It is up to them whether to promote you to a probationer status, allowing you to take part in ranked events. It may only require one session, it may require several, it's discussed privately amongst staff members.

Once you're a probationer, you're able to participate in ranked events - the status, to my knowledge, just means you're still under review throughout your races. They'll be looking at your driving standards and how you follow rules. It's also worth mentioning they can demote you if they feel you're standards are not up to scratch or need reviewing.

The first ranked event is September 24th and you will require at least a probationer status, fortunately, they've arranged an induction session the day before (September 23rd) so that any new members can have to chance to participate the following day.

I would also recommend clicking the tab next to forum marked 'Learn More'; there's information in there regarding everything from ranks, to rules, regulations etc.

I suggest you keep an eye out on the calendar, all events and inductions are listed there. Welcome to RSR btw.
