Going by the video it's actually 4, cup, gt3, gtlm and 919. But yeah since they are greedy bastards and the Porsche license probably isn't cheap they will make you pay for every one of them

They'll wait until the sales of the cup car go down and then release the 911 and so on. Is the 919 being release before Le Mans?

So gutted that I've been away most of this week and not been able to race Bathurst.

Was planning to try and race this weekend but polished off a bottle of red last night and thought I'd do some practice ready for the weekend, but the racer in me got the better of me and I ended up signing up for the midnight race against my better judgement.

Was the most surreal drive I've had in a long time Actually almost managed a zero inc race but just dusted the concrete on the last lap.

Good job the iRacing police were not doing random breath tests in the pits lol :)

So, I got the Porsche and took it out for a spin, spin being the operative word, damn that thing doesn't like the brakes. Probably because i'm trying to drive it like a GT3 car that i'm used to. I must be the only one that doesn't like the thing so far, found I was having to brake further and further away from the corner. Need more time with the car, something I don't really have :( When the official series starts I can run some races and see what's what. Do we know if the series will be fixed or not?

From what I picked up on streams is that the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car will replace the RUF cup series. Meaning that it'll take over the Fixed and non-fixed series. The only location where the RUF C-spec will still be driving is IMSA, the 24Hrs of Nordschleife, 6Hrs of the Glen & Petit LeMans.

I watched a few videos of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and all the guys who drove the car made the same comment as 2Scoops, the brakes are something and I also noticed that they were all braking so much earlier than you would expect. Locking up was also a problem but each one said they would need to get used to the braking system.

Yeah I got it last night and was giving it a go round Nords. I found I tend to brake around 50-60% pretty much all the time to avoid locking, and shifting the bias forwards obviously helps with preventing the rears locking on you. Think I went to around 48.5% which felt decent but meant I had to slow more first before turning in, rather than doing a bit of trail braking. Haven't tried anything setup wise with it yet though.

The Cup car requires you to brake earlier. Even just watching other people drive the car I can tell it will require skill to make it go fast which I love. Can't wait to try it.

I had a quick try of the car around nords last night. And I can honestly say the car feels great to drive. I was only using the default setup but if you get the breaking right the car is brilliant.

I've got a nose bleed :) broke into the 2.1k for the first time ever.

Shattered as it was a full on race all the way through, but made a balls of steels pass into the hairpin for P5 :) Think i'll grab a brew to celebrate :)

Have really enjoyed Donington this week and had some great results, hopefullying Suzuka can be just as good. In the top 4 in league 5 now, starting week 9, it's time to push.

Yeah I could tell you have been enjoying it been banging out some good results this week. You were bloody quick in the race earlier, I got stuck in traffic so did an early pit to undercut which got me clear but the damage was done at that point, but your pace was too rich for my blood regardless :)

I like Suzuka but it doesn't like me I was very slow last season there let's hope I can find some improvement otherwise it's going to be a 1 race week for me to save hemouraging irating.
